2020 was an unexpectedly challenging year for many around the world. For some of us, it was a time to graduate and begin a new phase of our lives. However, we faced several obstacles throughout the year, including losing close friends and family and adapting to the new normal of social distancing.
As I started college during the pandemic with overwhelming uncertainty, I realized that many others were going through the same process, impacting our emotional and psychosocial well-being. Creating short films in the past with Krivi, we knew that this story was something we wanted to explore further. We aimed to hear and share stories of fellow students, faculty, and staff of their experiences of how COVID-19 had affected the education system; over time, representing how we have grown stronger together.
I'm excited to share a glimpse into our first documentary that's been in development for the past few years and we can't wait to release it!
