I have this car in that same color. 6 speed with an lq9 / 821 heads / shaft rockers / stage 4 cam / 1 7/8th headers / 3 inch True Dual Exhaust. She rips for sure and gets a lot of attention.

Great review. You got all the stats right. I've owned 4 firebirds. The last last one being a 2002 Formula. Only around 900 made for that model year. The previous 3 were an 85 Trans Am an 80 Trans Am and a 76 Formula.

Wow, where do I start? A stock WS6 is a rare find and one of my favorite cars....love those nostrils. A Great review of the car and you're enthusiasm really came out while driving it. You got to fly a plane...so cool...I'm jealous! Be careful...the plane hobby is really extensive...LOL. Great Video!!

Daily drive my 01 Firebird Formula in 2022, and i love it. Still a head turner and salt factory for sure.

I've owned a completely stock 2002 trans am WS6 ram air for nearly twelve years now and just love it. Glad I bought it when I did. Love how they handle and look. Currently only have 62K on the clock. Plan on keeping it until I'm to old to get in and out of it, 😂.

Those 4th gen Trans Ams were an improvement from the 3rd gen. I had a 1998 Firebird t top

My absolute favorite car is the 98-02 WS.6 Trans Am. When I was in high school, graduated in 2002, I used to admire these cars on the local dealer lot. I used to own a 1996 Trans Am and I'm currently looking for a 98-02 Firebird W68 V6.

@Fire Bird I had a 76 455 automatic in 91 made a huge mistake by trading it got a 99 twenty years ago and unfortunately it got ran into which brings me to a month ago I bought a nice ls1 98 with 198000 miles for six thousand good luck on you finding one I'm proof it can happen

@@ieeanderson6326 sorry you got into an accident, I hope you are ok. I just bought a red 98 W68 Firebird t-top last week. The guy who owned it, bought it in 1999, drove it only in summer and kept it in a climate controlled garage for all these years. It has very, very few blemishes, no rust whatsoever, no cracks in the door panels nor the dashboard and the gray leather seats are literally near perfect! Hard to believe it's 24 years old. I still can't get over how spotless the undercarriage is.

I bought mine a little over a year ago after hunting for about 4. My 02 ws6 drop top with 27k miles and that clutch still feels better than some of the other manual cars I have driven. I love this car and it never fails to bring compliments whenever I take the car out

Awesome video. You should look into the GMMG exhaust system for these beauties. That's what I'm planning for my '99 T/A. It's pewter as well with a WSQ hood.

I have the same color 00 ws6 for over 8 years, new s60 rear with 373s, longtubes and a tune. Never looked back

Great video! My father flew ultra light planes and was the senior member of the Northwoods Flying Club in Northern Wisconsin years ago…. I have a 2002 Maple Red Metallic TransAm Convertible with an undocumented LS6 block that Pontiac snuck in from GM on the last run of a few F4 TA’s. Maple Red Metallic is the lowest color produced in 2002…😎👍. It’s nice to see younger people appreciate the Pontiac era of the legendary Firebird…

Nice vid. Just wanted to point out the Ram air hood is not functional. You have to drill and cut to make them functional. ;) I have a Sebring Silver '98 WS9 which is the flat hood with the LS1 . Best car I ever had, love it.

@ heavy metal the ram air hood is functional u can cut it for more flow. I own one. It's more of a cold air induction than a ram air.

Nice video review. Your information was accurate and I love your car enthusiasm. My first car was a '95 Firebird. I bought my wife a '92 Firebird for her first car and I own my dream car which is a 1984 Tans Am L69 5 speed WS6 and I also have a 1990 Corvette ZR-1!

I noticed the writing underneath the hood stating “green antifreeze only” that is not correct it should be dexcool which is orange.

With all due respect ma’am, this is the very best car review I have ever seen. I mean that, really. Your knowledge is unbelievable!! I have the same car for more than 10 years and like you, I know everything there was to know about it. Your knowledge of this car is amazing. You know every detail, even that the wheels are speedline wheels! that blew me away. Well, you’re so pretty and so young I guess it’s pointless for me to tell you that I love you and I want to marry you just because you know so much about my favorite car but there it is. What junkyard parts? Those were original. The writing is in grease pencil and there for his maintenance purposes.
