The transfer portal is useful to fill in limited spots on your roster. Only con artists like Kiffin and Prime Slime think you can build a roster from it. If that guy has transferred once, they will do it again. Those programs are just renting players and it will fail in the end.

If Dante Moore becomes a superstar that'll be amazing because he was unbelievably terrible at reading defenses as a freshman at UCLA. I mean this guy was only staring down his receivers and never reading the defense like he looks like a bust. If they can turn him into an actual NFL prospect that'd be amazing. Also, even if he does become a NFL prospect, I would still be very suspect at drafting him because we know that the Oregon duck system is extremely simple

Chip's UCLA offense was pretty much "make one read and scramble if it's not there," and Dante isn't a scrambling QB. Was a terrible situation for him. His biggest mistake was not picking the Ducks from the start.
