Love the cut at 5:20 “this is why Texas tech struggles as a run defense, they’re very poor” 😂
Sammie Coates against Texas A&M was the first thing to come to mind when seeing the title. Laughed when it was the first clip, love it.

i’m a gamcocks fan myself so this is kind of funny, but i think that player 29 is either throwing the game or he was just having a bad attitude cause he literally could’ve talked him. you can see him slow down twice before the Alabama player scores..
I’m a Sooner fan but Tommy Frazier was a beast. I watched that Championship game and ACTUALLY rooted for the Huskers.

It's a shame he wasn't able to go pro.
One of the scariest tackles that I have ever seen was at Spartan Stadium against Indiana. The Indiana ball carrier was running on the right hash and a Spartan grabbed him from behind just below the tocks. Another Spartan came head on and hit the Indiana player so hard that the ball carrier's back hit the back of the dude that was tackling him from behind. I thought they killed that Indiana player because it looked like they broke his back because he was bent in half. But, that dude just got up and ran off.

I must confess, I thoroughly enjoyed watching some of these guys break tackles putting defenses to shame!👊🏻
Journey Brown would've been a great back in the NFL. It's a damn shame he discovered he had a heart condition. This kid was a stud! Anyone that hasn't seen his 722 yard, 10 TD performance in high school, go check out the video!
Amazing how an offensive runner can damn near take a defender's head off, but if a defender gets anywhere near an offensive player's head...it's a penalty.

@colinmcmillan692
2 жыл бұрын
@@unknownd5679 Eh he does make a point. I used to be a D-end and it was always sketchy trying to tackle someone at full blast because if he drops lower, then you're going to hit his head even if you didn't mean to. But when they smack YOUR head, nothing happens. Its also the same for us defenders when someone is about to catch a ball, and you STEAM ROLL him right as he catches it, making him dropping. "Ah he was a harmless catcher", bruh stfu its football. He made contact with the ball, so end of story.
Those kids at Bama just built different 😂

Kenyan Drake against Wisconsin comes to mind, too.
Henry was great at it in college .... but Henry's stiff arm in NFL is as deadly as Jim Brown's forearm whack ... Najee's stiff arm / hurdle combo was the most entertaining. Mason did it in reverse.

Herschel on left, Herschel on right, and Herschel down the center. 1000 push-ups, 1500 sit-ups, and 750 pull-ups a day. Man ate his wheaties. Easily one of, if not the, best college football players in history. He shows you what happens when your running back is as fast as your wide receivers and as big as you offensive linemen.

Pt 2
I been addicted to these and I don't even watch football
I think the rules of football, particularly for defensive backs, are part of the reason for highlights like this. 1) With the rule on targeting (heat to head contact), less and less defenders are laying the hammer down on people. 2) The defensive back are concentrating more on hit and strip versus hit and wrap up. Hence…..strong backs run right through weak huts and arm tackles.
1:09 Herbstreit with the epic foreshadowing
I love this game......
2:00 was like a IP man scene where its like 6 on 1 and he beats all of them but that poor tackling smh got guys running in with bad form, making helmet to helmet contact with their own teammates & #37 pulls back his own teammate #12 from making a recovery smh
Good job
1:43 💀💀💀 if my middle school team did that on defense we wouldve been doing sprints till our legs were on fire
Fornette was a man amongst boys in college

seems like the running themes for these clips is the defense seems to go for the strip of the ball rather than the tackle
