That was the most Saban thing that Saban has ever done. Less than a minute left on the clock in a blowout, but the play calling got sloppy because it was a cupcake game. Love it. I’m a Clemson fan but the way he responded to him gave me vibes of he’s scared. Clemson did everything but lose 2011-2015 except a couple times. Never against unranked teams, so when you go into a game against unranked teams and cut a close one then yeah the media is going to ask and I doubt the media cares for teams who have a recorded of losing to them.

The media liked to take his comments out of context and make it look like he was shitting on the SEC back when OU was an offensive monster, and the SEC was all defense and low scoring. Eventually, the offenses in the SEC caught up

Nothing like the heart of a passionate coach. I played hockey for a coach that played for Michigan State and he would scream at us like no tomorrow. We would win games though. He made me sit on the toilet one time for playing horrible.

I can't play a lick of football, but that 1st coach made me believe I could step out on the field and do something special.
