So, these jumper cables were SUPPOSED to not short when hooked up in reverse. The module that switches the polarity failed, causing this to happen.

And just in, displayed for you right here, 12 volt battery powered "keep warm" cables. Just what you need for those cold, wintery nights when you are stuck in your car having to wait around, and you are freezing your nuts off.
