The harmonies make this song such a classic

Back in 98, my son introduced me to this band via cd, just after my wife at the time left us including our 8 year old daughter for a never ending party. Can't tell you how many Saturday nights I listened to this band on my stereo ( maybe a little loud) to make me feel better about myself and to what I still had a that time, and still do. Thanks.

This song hits me deep.... On the 18th Jan 2024 I recieved the phone call that would shatter me, my father passed unexpectedly.... I had to fly back to SA from NZ 36 hours to say goodbye.... The day after returning to NZ, I went to see Collective Soul play in my hometown, Hamilton NZ, along with Simple Minds and Texas..... They played this song and it's the one that's stuck in my mind since losing my father 💔💔

This was the first song I ever heard by Collective soul. Dosage is my #1 go to album. It's hard to find an album that you love every song on, but this one is amazing. So many memories and so much nostalgia. ❤

I remember i was 18 and a group of all my high school friends decided to hang out at the mall a Saturday afternoon. My dad was having a very errie feeling since that morning. We all hung out the whole Saturday we decided to catch a movie that afternoon & it was 'varsity blues' after the movie finished we all planned to hit a new club downtown.I suddendly started having butterflies in my stomach as if something was not right and decided to skip clubbing and go straight home. As we were all teenagers my other school mates thought i was boring. But that's probably the best decision I made in my life that day. After reaching home.i hanged out a little with my dad. Watched his favourite western. That night while sitting right across me in the living room he passed on peacefully. I was so thankful to god that i decided to skip my mates and have a final few moments with my dad. Till now i try to svoid watching 'Varsity Blues' movie.and this song is a total reminder pf that day. IDK my deep inside i just totally love 'run'by 'the collective soul'

What a perfect song from vocals to lyrics, to instrumental, and the list goes on. It touches the soul.

This must be one of the most beautiful songs of the 90s... the harmony, the violins, piano and a rhythm so hopeful that it excites and at the same time makes you happy... few rock bands achieve something like that, that one song will change your life.... There must be good magic in this song.

Dosage is by far their best album. Heavy was the first song of theirs I heard and was immediately sucked in. Run is tied with it for 1st place. Such an amazing and under appreciated band

Saw these guys in Portland Oregon many years ago. Took my son -who was 21 at the time-as he grew up listening to them with me. LOVED the concert! They sounded just as good in concert as on any album. LOVE THEM!
