I’m old and wise lol 😂 a relative of the great genius of sound and music Sam Phillips who discovered Elvis, Johnny Cash among so many others. Collective Soul is phenomenal and deserves to be admired & respected in every aspect of music ❤️❤️❤️

He’s an absolute genius

So, I'm 23- and I was 19 when I first discovered Collective Soul, I remember thinking that they were just another rock band from the 90s and I would only like a few of their songs. But all of a sudden, I had their first 5 albums within a month. I was trying to go see them live, but I missed a nearby show. I couldn't wait to see this cool band live someday. But only a few weeks after discovering them, I fell into a huge depression and attempted to end my life. The police came over. It was terrifying, but I had "The World I Know" stuck in my head all night. Somehow, I knew this wasn't the end for me. Every day after that, I made huge leaps to better my health, and I grew closer to Collective Soul's music with every moment. Covid prevented me from seeing them live for so long. I would pray every night that I could see or even meet Collective Soul and tell them my story. Their music was my best friend and I never felt alone, even though I was sure I was the only girl in her early 20s listening to Collective Soul religiously. Nothing stopped me, and on March 25, 2021 I finally went to my first 3 Collective Soul shows. I had to fly to Atlanta, but it was SO worth it. I met Ed and he sat down on a staircase with me for 25 minutes. We exchanged so many hugs, and he told me I was love and an inspiration to him. He took off his glasses so I could gaze into his eyes. I really squealed! I finally got to meet the man that saved my life when I was 19, and he was even better than one could ever dream. I told him that I prayed every night to see and meet Collective Soul and he told me it was so sweet before pulling me in for the best hug of my life. That was the best day of my life and I have the entire video of us meeting on my channel. Fast forward to today, and I just saw my 10th Collective Soul concert last week, and met the band. I'm so proud to say I'm friends with them and I have SO many stories I could tell about my incredible experiences with this band. They are as real as it gets, and I'm SO grateful they are still making music and still touring. They love their fans more than ANY other band I have EVER seen, and I'm a concert junkie. I'm devastated to be one of the only few younger fans of this band and I'm dying to make this change. They are a band that EVERYBODY on this earth can enjoy and they need to hear. I know if Collective Soul saved my life, they can save someone else's. Their music has healing power, and "All Our Pieces" is just another one of hundreds of songs that can make a difference in so many people's lives. I love Collective Soul. People have yet to realize their true potential.

God bless you Darlin & keep your head held high! I lost my 26 year old Daughter to suicide twelve years ago. It devastates those left behind for the rest of our lives. I'm so happy that Ed & the band had something to offer you to help you find your way. Stay close to them & even closer to God. Please do what my child just could not seem to. Live!

@@eddievibbert6740 I'm SO SORRY about that. I have a personality disorder that causes me to think those thoughts daily, even though Ed told me not think those thoughts again. It's something I can't control. But thinking and doing is a big jump. Now, when I have those thoughts, I remind myself that Collective Soul are my friends and I'm worth it, and miracles are always on the way. Also, if this makes you feel any better... once people "die", they aren't gone. Their energy is always in the universe. She is living and thriving better than ever without the body she was once in. Ed told me when we met that my excited energy vibrated and gave him energy up on stage every night. Your energy vibrates, hence why Ed named the new album Vibrating. So your daughter is sending you vibrations every day and you need to be open to feel them. Quite your mind, which is full of YOUR thoughts and perceptions. To have her again, you just have to feel and stay open. Nothing ever "dies". We have souls, spirits, and most importantly, vibrating energy. The energy in my post made you compelled to reply. Use that energy to live yourself

I'm a proud 66 year old Aussie bloke who grew up with the best of music from the 60's through to the 90's. Sadly I thought that good music was dead. That was until I discovered Collective Soul. You guys are the absolute best band no ifs, ands or buts about it. I am absolutely crazy about your music and so is my wife of 41 years. We are hoping to come to one of your concerts some day in the near future, so keep an eye out in the crowd for a crazy Aussie couple singing along with all your songs. Keep it up guys "You're the greatest!"

Saw them in concert last night. Didn't disappoint!

WE CAN ALL RELATE TO THE MUSIC OF COLLECTIVE SOUL, THE SONGS, THE WORDS, THE MUSIC, THE RHYTHM, THE GUITARS, THE BASS, THE DRUMS, IT ALL MAKES PERFECT SENSE. WE NEED TO LISTEN AND LEARN. OUR SOULS ARE DRIVEN BY OUR EXPERIENCES IN LIFE AND THIS ROCK BAND KNOWS WHAT ITS LIKE TO LIVE WITH ALL THE GOOD AND BAD IN THIS WORLD. WE HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, THIS MUSIC WILL HELP US GET THROUGH THESE TOUGH TIMES.

I drove down to Dubuque Iowa with my wife in 21 during COVID and saw these guys in the back of a casino parking lot. Best damn concert! Incredibly grateful they are still rocking.

That voice takes me back to my class xi n xii days (1998) when I heard c s for the first time in Kalimpong in India....they were a big name then....I want them to hit today's mass n make it big..

Geez, does this guy EVER sing a bad song? Just as amazing as the first time I ever saw them. They did a free show that was also played on the radio. Club was so packed that not everyone could get in, so they all hung out listening to it in the parking lot. First album still one of my top favorite albums of all time. If I had the chance to ask Ed a question. It would have to be why it is they only ever seem to perform Shine live and nothing else off that album. That album is raw brilliance with some of the best guitar work I've ever heard. To say these guys are underrated would be putting it mild. Ed's other projects are equally as amazing

It's hard to find a band that's as consistently good as Collective Soul. Their top 20 songs are as good as anyone's!! They are also great live. Saw them at the Arizona State Fair around 2006 or 2007. A perfect 1 hour set!!

I was sin JrHigh when I herd shine. I thought it was the best song ever. And there second album I was so obsessed with it. I’ve never been more excited with a album. Collective soul was my first concert for discipline breakdown. I’ve now seen them 8 times and about to see them a 9th time with my wife this time. I’m a couple weeks away from turning 40. This will next show will be my leaving my 30’s party. My fav collective soul shows were in Vegas as the golden nugget casino and hardrock poolside. I wish they would do that again. I like these videos…I want to see one for the Reason.
