I am still anime only for “to your eternity”, liked it quite a lot. It definitely deals with heavy philosophical themes and gets confusing. The characters are good for the most part.

I love yakuza fiance. Im caught up with the english translated chapters and i dont really rmr the earlier chapters but at first it felt like the ml was kinda a weird yandere but now that they showed his backstory it makes sense... And I'd say even though they dont say it the feelings are definitely mutual now/ atleast the girl cares about him now

flipping through it is so nice and takes me back to the excitement when reading it 😭 i was debating on another official JP HQ books that i believe is different from the HC artbook...not sure if you have it but feel like you do. i think it came with a bunch of acrylics? i saw it the other day but then thought hm the HC art book is so big and has enough content for me to be happy with. idk maybe you'll convince me otherwise LOL. omg yess that first short story for Flower Capital ended in such a bittersweet way...def delivered in the heartache. and thanks so much for the greeting and for your support as always! 😭🥰

"case study of vanitas" covers look so amazing, every time i see them i want to buy them so bad, but at the same time i want to stop myself from rapidly picking up new series qwq howeverrr, i do want to pick up "summer ghost" 2 in 1 because i saw the bits and pieces of anime and it makes me want to read manga first

i totally fell for the hype of Vanitas but have been assured that i will very much enjoy it...so i took the plunge haha. but lately, i have been stopping myself from picking up long-ish ongoing series. shelf space is so sparse and even non-existent at this point haha. ohhh the omnibus print for Summer Ghost is nice and not a huge investment since it's just 1 vol. i haven't read it yet but all the supernatural series popping up def has me intrigued 👀

@@cadence_la oh I’m both! The manga was on hiatus for a year after the anime but it has come back ever since May. It’s really good imo and take a unique turn for a story on vampires. Look out for the first chapter 👀

@@sabrinajones9999 i'm on vol 8 of vanitas and i TOTALLY see what you mean by looking out for the first chapter. bc whaaaat?? 😆 i will say tho that the series is quite packed with a lot of world building and lore. honestly not sure what to believe. but i've got 8-10 to still read so we'll see!

I always find it funny when I watch a haul video and it turns out I also own a bunch of what was shown! Although I am behind on some like Jeweler Richard. I watched the anime of Vanitas and really liked it which is why I now own all of the manga that's out. Whoops. Also Delinquent Daddy & Tender Teacher has more volumes coming. I think you can preorder volumes 2 & 3 right now. I don't know if it goes further than that. But at least if you're interested enough you can see how the characters progress.

ahh ok yess since i totally slacked on reading during the month of Oct, i pushed reading Vanitas to this month haha. i see many who are fans of the anime so i feel like i'm in good hands with the manga (and anime after). ohhhh Delinquent Daddy has more vols? ok MAL lied to me then! well, actually, not entirely since a sequel is listed but 1 of the ones listed doesn't look like the original characters...i'll see once the vols release 👀

Amazing haul as always, but I was wondering, as someone who really liked a silent voice, what are your thoughts on it, after hearing you say you dont have the best opinion on it im guessing not so great?

thank youu! 🥰ahh A Silent Voice. i remember enjoying the movie, but when i read it, i was surprised that i didn't quite like it. it was a frustrating read for me tbh. besides the bullying, which i can understand that that's not supposed to be something we enjoy reading about since it's a painful experience, it felt like a series of forcing people to get along and often times the communication fell flat for me. if it was really about communication, i'm not sure why some characters who used physical violence were able to get away with that without actually addressing it, especially the adults towards the kids. some characters i did really like and appreciate but overall it was a miss for me 🥲 that's just how i personally felt about it but feel free to let me know what you really liked about the series! 😊

I picked up At the Flower Capital because I was also reading Only the Flowers Know and knew they were connected, but I didn't realize it was explicit, as there's no warning label and it's only rated 16+. I wonder if that was an oversight on the publishers part?

ahh yah that's interesting bc vol 3 of Only the Flower Knows has some explicit content (similar to At the Flower Capital) and that one is rated 18+ Mature whereas the first 2 vols are 16+ Young Adult. i'm not in publishing and don't know about rating requirements but maybe there's a threshold on number of appearance of explicit content before it gets bumped up in rating? i'm totally guessing. or it can be an oversight too!

We are also on the lookout for "The Case Files of Jeweler Richard'' manga 😊 We watched the anime some time ago, and it was really good! Can definitely recommend it 💛 Also, may we ask where you buy your manhwa from? 😮

ok i didn't realize Jeweler Richard has an anime! 👀 i tend to like reading things first and then watching it after (bc i feel like i get lazy to read it if i already watched the anime and enjoyed it haha). ohh i buy manhwa from Barnes & Noble if it's already licensed for print in English or i'll buy Korean copies from other places like Harumio, Koon Books, or directly from Aladin.kr. The first two sites are really expensive though esp when it comes to shipping. Ordering from Aladin.kr isn't too bad so if you're able to find the books you want, it prob is more affordable that way

i use the Google Translate app and literally hope up my phone to the pages 😅 it's quite tedious and sometimes the translation isn't that great (especially the translated sentence structure), but i still find that it works alright for me!

ahh yess a Genshin husbando enjoyer haha 🥰 i bought it at a convention from the artist mors_gn (you can find them on twitter and instagram under that username). as far as i know, they don't have an online shop and only sell during conventions 🥲

Nice to see another person say My Happy Marriage is a 6.5/7 our of 10! I enjoyed the anime and manga as well but was thinking that I personally don't think the story is 9 or 10/10 like a lot of people 😅

ahh yess exactly 😬 i actually enjoy the manga more than i did the anime. but then again, the anime went past the manga and certain parts of the latter half of the anime felt lacking to me. so i'm not sure if i'll start feeling that way once the manga gets to that point. we'll see! but it was def not 9 or 10/10 for either of us two it seems 😅

@@edy_18bahh ok i see. from the random clips i've seen, it does look great. and soundtrack can for sure make a huge difference 💖 it's why i tend to want to read a series first before watching it bc the anime might be an extra treat to see it voiced out, animated, and with great music too
