Can't find the new xAPI Vocab Server recommended

Hello Devlin, how about data protection legislation? I think we should get the permission of the users to capture their personal data and also make sure they agree to the intended uses.

Great question! And I completely agree. I've read up on GDPR before and many LRS vendors will make their offer GDPR-compliant as needed. Getting permission from the user to collect that data (and explaining how it will be used) is a really important step, too. Thanks again :D

Hi Romeoh! Thanks for reaching out about this. This site actually seems to have a lot of problems with hosting...for some reason they have it on servers that do not run very well. It is a hit or miss if it will be online when you need it (hopefully they fix this soon).

Hi Devlin, I followed every step closely, but in Console when I typed player.getvar = ("uName"), the result came out is "uName", instead of the name I typed in, same thing went for player.getvar=("uEmail"). I repeated the process three times, they all came out the same. What could be the problem? (Thank you so much for replying!)

Hmmm...I'm not sure! Are you using player.GetVar? Capitalization is important in JavaScript.

You could do it all in Storyline, but not as a I include it here. That method would require you to re-use a lot of code over and over (and it would not give you the added debugging help of a dedicated tool like VS Code)

Storyline starts at 1,000$ a year?

You'll want to check their website for their most recent price, but last time I checked it was somewhere around there. But I believe they also offer an educator's discount. Thanks for watching!
