Question: do you seal your finished product in order to give it a shiny surface? I tried modge podge & it made it so much ‘prettier’ but it also made it kinda sticky.

Hi Beverly, this collage I didn't add any finishing medium. Some of the collage papers were shiny on their own. When I use soft gel matte medium, the surface is a bit sticky. A trick that I learned from other artists is to put a very light dusting of baby powder on top of the finished artwork that is a bit sticky. Or you can put a piece of freezer paper or parchment paper on top of the artwork especially if it's in a journal so the artwork won't stick to the previous page. I hope this helps.
