Coleman Saluspa Inflatable Hot Tub Complete Setup

Here is brief video of unboxing and setting up my new inflatable hot tub. I purchased this Coleman Saluspa Cali Inflatable hot tub from Walmart for a $430. Our backyard space is limited and I like the fact that it can be easily transported or deflated to store away when not in use. The hot tub setup was fairly simple and straightforward. I highly recommend reading through the entire manual to make sure everything goes smoothly during setup. In addition to the hot tub, I purchased chemicals in advance to keep the water sanitized. Definitely do some research on how to keep your water clean, but basically add some bromine, rinse off before jumping into the hot tub, and wash out the filter after each use. The heating element goes up to 104 deg and the bubble jet is amazing. This hot tub is meant for 3-4 persons. We are a family of 4 and both of our kids are under the age of 10. We can all sit comfortably, but it's much more comfortable with 2 or 3 people inside. Overall this turned out to be a good investment because we don't know anyone with a pool or hot tub nearby, so my kids will have a blast this summer in their own how tub.

I just wanted to tell you how much you video has helped me set up our new tub. I am 77 with a brain problem that makes it hard to read or watch something and retain it. I checked out several videos and they did everything in fast motion and I gave up last night and packed it away. Then this morning I checked youtube again and yours was the first video I found. Now after a few hours of work on the tub while running back in the house to watch a special part and back out again, I can say instead of returning the tub, we are waiting for it to heat up. Thanks for showing everything in detail as you did. A new subscriber as well. Larry

Larry, your comment is so sweet that it melts my heart. I am so glad that a video I made on a whim turned out to be helpful to many. And I’m so happy that you’re able to set up the tub rather than going through the hassle of returning. Enjoy your new hot tub ☺️

I just purchased this one this morning. If you're thinking of getting one, better start looking now. For some reason they're selling out quick. Yesterday I couldn't find one and today I found two in stock for this one at Walmart so I hurried up and ordered. Yesterday I had one in my cart and in the time it took to put in my billing information it sold out.

I have had one similar to this. It's inexpensive and was fun. Might last a couple of years, but the only issue is that when you turn the bubbles on it blows air in from the outside, so the temperature will drop fairly quickly. Other than that, it was o.k.!

Read a review on Amazon. Someone mentioned buying a connection from Home Depot that will allow you to run your hot water to the jacuzzi therefore decreasing the time it will take to reach optimal temp

Whoa! 2-3 hrs? Idk… maybe our water pressure was stronger? Our hose was right next to the hot tub. Not sure if that helped speed it up? 😁

@@aoyamiuriko5059 Hello Aoyami! I would only shock the hot tub after each use with about a cap full of shock then run the bubbles for the 30 minute cycle. I have another short video on maintenance. Hopefully this helps. Thank you for watching 🙂

I would say it took about 15-20 to set the tub up and another 20 minutes to fill it with water from our hose. Thank you for watching and let me know if you have any other questions!

Mine took about ten mins to connect (once they sent me a manual!!) Filling with water, less than an hour. Two nights to fully heat it, as the water I put in was 50 degrees. Put the filters on the side BEFORE filling it. Having trouble with mine

Thank you for this and your other Coleman Saluspa videos. Very helpful! I ordered a Saltron Mini Drop-in Salt Chlorine Generator from Amazon. I really wanted salt instead of bromine. Do you have an opinion on whether using salt would be okay with this unit? Thanks!!

Awesome! I’m happy for you! I do leave it plugged in 24/7 and have the filter running. I don’t always have the heater on depending on the weather. I selected bromine because it’s easier on the skin, but it’s a bit more expensive than chlorine. Enjoy your new tub!
