This is PERFECT for beginners, when i first started riding my sister boughr us 2 of these, we lived in exactly the same place i think right in our neighborhood was a trail that would lead to thousands of miles and trails and we found so much aweomse stuff, everyday for 2 years we would ride there, then i got a pit bike, loved that thing! Then everyday for the next year me and my friend and my sister would go out and ride for hours finding new stuff everyday, crashing getting in trouble all that good stuff, then.. We moved to a city and it sucks ass, them bikes have been sittin in the backyard for months now..

For sale? Lol, just kidding. You'll get back on the trail. Look into clubs or starting a club. Someone will have land or know a place. I think it would be absolutely awesome to start opening truly family friendly, mini-only parks so that we are not in the way of ATVs, UTVs and such. It is a much more affordable option and mixes well with camping. We can all dream, don't give in to the pavement and don't get yourself in trouble doing all that inner city riding that's on KZread, it's not worth losing your bike and or license.

I have 2 of these bikes. They're amazing for what they are. One was run out of oil and the other was swamped and hydro-locked by my 10 year old grandson. Both problems were fixed on the trail in 30 minutes or less. These little bikes are a hoot!

We bought 3, a bt200x a ct200u and the ct100u. We rode them all over Idaho mountain roads. I'm 180 and the stock bike while limited in speed is plenty powerful for family rides etc. For the money you cant go wrong. Plus it is just standard power equipment engine so its cheap to keep these things in the game for years. No electronic, chip,or other complex B.S.. Great for family rides with less experience riders and a killer value.

If you keep the oil changed regularly the only maintenance really required is if you burn up tires, breaks, chain, sprockets or clutch.. All super simple fixes and all reasonable priced items. Even if you blow the motor up you can pick up a decent replacement for 100$ at Harbor Freight. I would say most common maintenance issue is clutch or torque converter system depending on the bike. They need to stay clean and lubricated to the best of your ability.

I'll have to watch your other videos to see if you figured this one out but your life on the Coleman CT200U-A would be so much nicer if you mounted the seat on 4 to 6 springs then the springs on to a plate then mount the plate to the frame. Then you can laugh over those harsh bumps....at least until the foot pegs warped downward and you had to buy a better style of foot peg and replaced the factory skinny noodles.

@@randomgarage1 don't bypass the govener unless you fully remove it, because the plastic gears can break and destroy the metal gears and it that would not be fun buying another $600 bike I think thats what the go for now the reason i did it is to get more gas into the cylinders so it can carry me up steeper stuff but and i hardly ever go 15 mph on it because ots more of a work bike to get from my house to my moms rental house and her house on both sides of me (I live in the middle with my grandma) while carrying smaller items quickly. Another reason I did it is because it is kinda a throw around bike for me because I got mine for $300 and a second one for $350 on a Christmas sale and I just bought myself a 2020 CRF250l I also got a 2020 drz 125 for my sister and a crf 50 for my little brother so if one breaks It won't be bad for me ill either just take the time to fix it or ill pay my neighbor to take the govener out because he is super good at it and has done like 5 of them

My Coleman 196 RB had the chain tensioner barren have catastrophic failure. This broke the jackshaft chain, the jackshaft assembly and killed the motor. Now the motor smokes very poorly and is very hard to start now. 4 days after the 90 day warranty ended. $599 wasted.
