I've had one since June of 2021. Seems to be a sturdy dependable minibike..except I had to replace the recoil starter assembly it failed when I tried to start the bike this past spring. I found a direct drop in replacement from Hipa. Took me about 10 minutes to install. Final drive chain adjustment can be tricky there's a fine line between 'too loose' and 'too tight'. Better to keep it on the loose side rather than too tight. I keep the chains well oiled and put a few drops of oil on the end of the crankshaft on the outboard side of the clutch every once in a while. The owner's manual recommends checking valve clearance after 10 hours of operation but I've yet to do that it's about due for that the engine runs well and usually starts on the first pull but it has to be choked some for every start up. Regular maintenance is quite simple. Good tips in this video.

Converted My Coleman BT200X to NGK BE6ES non resistor plug. I use on my Honda GCX160 lawnmower Champion 3500 watt generator and Ariens 208cc snow blower. This makes these engines start on 1 pull unless sitting for 6 months then two pulls max. I also use B&S 5W-30 Synthetic on all these engines. Coupled with recreation grade non-ethanol blend gas with seafoam and these engines all run better than new.

I've been have a lot of issues with my CT200X and CT200U-EX where the rear wheels starts to bind as I tighten the axle nut - even when the brake is completely disconnected. New bearings installed and the axle/spacer/washer assembled correctly but I am stumped! Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.

With regard to the amount of oil these engines take. I have three of these bikes, and I cannot get more than 16 ounces of oil in any of them, despite what the owners manual says. I called Coleman directly at the number supplied in the assembly booklet, and asked them. The person I spoke with had no idea and said nobody ever asked her that question before, so she asked the "mechanic" as she referred to him. According to her, the mechanic said 16 ounces is all the correct amount of oil for these engines.

Your front wheel is on backwards! The deeper recess belongs on the left side in order to center the wheel with the frame. There is an arrow mark on the tire that should be pointing in the forward rotation direction.

@@DansHealthyVlog correct, you won't have carburetor problems for years if u run ethanol free gas meanwhile everyone else running ethanol gasoline will be having problems with carburetor and gunning issues very soon

I think it is important to change the oil after the engine is broken in to remove any metal pieces that might get in the oil during breakin. Then change at least once a year after.

I agree. No more than 5 hours max on first run but I change my oil very often in non-filtered engines.

I recommend ordering a performance kit from gopowersports.com The kit I have from them came with a straight pipe exhaust, performance air filter, a bigger jet for the carburetor for more fuel

80W-90 gear lube applied with an acid brush is all you need to lubricate a chain. No need for snake oil lubricants.

That may be because those guys are used to the Harbor Freight engines that have a low oil sensor inside the block. It takes up space. The Hisun engines on these Colemans do not have a low oil sensor and need a couple more oz of oil that takes up that space. I'm currently building an old Harbor Freight engine for my second Coleman. The low oil sensor sees the garbage can right away..
