Very beautiful lanterns. I have two 237 Colemans, but they are missing the header, glasses and globes. I couldn't complete them, they are working actively. I enjoy watching your videos and the lighthouses you restored. Good luck.

Nice lanterns. Up here kerosene is not cheap, but not as expensive as Coleman fuel. Thank you for showing your treasures to us, Robert. Stay safe and stay cool

Oddly enough, I just did the exact same comparison on my back porch. I couldn’t tell any difference between the kerosene or white gas as far as brightness. Thanks for showing us yours.

I have a 237 that was my grandads. I want to get it right for use but I’m not sure really where to start. I’ll just keep doing some research. Great video to start me off

I think I got a 237 kerosene. The primer can is gone . It was dad's. One day I can afford it I'd like to get it restored and a 200a. Been out in the pole barn for years

236 is a smidge brighter to my eyes probably because of the flash point of Coleman fuel. Kero burns slower. Kinda like the difference of diesel vrs pump gas, Both sweet lanterns Rob

Not much difference... Are the Canadian lantern parts threaded metric?

They are Imperial mostly. Early models were imperial. But modern Coleman's here can have even Robertson screws on lots of parts

Can the Kerosene versions run on white gas camp fuel too?

I honestly can't give an answer on that. I know I have a multi fuel Optimus 111B that you can run either of the fuel, but personally, I have never tried running white gas in any kerosene appliances. Sorry I couldn't be more help. God bless.
