You have to at least give it a shot. Personally, I fell in love with it after the first minute and a half. There are flaws definitely but not overpowering the greatness of the show and the plot.

Even if his brother isn't watching the show, they're twins. so in a way? the other one is on TV somehow and maybe it'll seem odd to Dylan in anycase. So Cole doesn't want him feeling like he's doing the show in some weird way or not. They seem to keep their individual lives separate, but being twins as brothers, is kind of awkward for them with such similar faces right?

Dorothea Unwin let people enjoy it for what it is, a cute and healthy relationship between two people who respect and accept other. what is so wrong that? also, Jughead was ace in ONE version of the comics, there were many where he was not, and the show is just another version, it's his own thing. Cole already explained this, Riverdale is its own version, so people shouldn't be waiting to see everything that happens on the comics happening on the show. He even said he thinks representation is important, but that this Jughead, Riverdale's Jughead, is NOT that Jughead. If you think the effing CW is going to pass off on the chance to create multiple couples with every character possible and love triangles for people to ship and fight over... I mean, this not HBO or Netflix, this the CW, the same network that gave us TVD and every other orgy based show. Honestly, Riverdale is way more than I hoped for from that network, this is as high as my expectations for a CW show goes.

If you reread, my only complaint is that its a bit annoying, along with its hype. I'm okay with it, I just find the fact that fangirls shriek every, single, damn, time they see it grates on my nerves. (Seriously, at my school... *Shudders*.) Its a tv show relationship, and one I'm just not a fan of. Like I said, I'm a purist. (Do you wail every time a purist trekkie says they don't like the newer adaptions? I'm guessing no.) 2. I know it's (the show) is not like the comics. That why it says 'based off of'. It's not a complete representation. But, as with all first season relationships, they are hardly ever endgame. (Stelena, matthew and mary, felicity and oliver...) So, yes, I know that each character doesn't go exactly hand and hand with the comics. 3. I know that jughead is only officially ace in one comic series as well. He doesn't have to be ace in the show! I just don't like this pairing. (Plus, Cole wants jughead to be ace). I don't expect it to be tit for tat with the comics. Chill. Out. 4. (Semi point, but Betty really needs to respect Jughead's wishes more... He did NOT want that party.) 5. I don't get it, if people can complain about certain characters, and not get wrecked, why can't I complain about a ship? Its my opinion. I wasn't being disrespectful (I hope). So please, I implore you, accept my opinion (or don't), and try to make your points without trying to sound too brash. That was a rather large rant in response to a 241 character comment. Anyway, have a nice day. :)

I wish someone would actually explain exactly what about them is "forced" and "fake" because it just sounds like repetitive bandwagon talk. Betty and Jughead have the most open, honest relationship on the show and it's evident in the show, and even off it in interviews, fb live chats and the rest of their social media interactions, that Lili and Cole have a lot of chemistry.
