Finally saw Coldplay live on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 in Vancouver. My expectations were sky high and they were somehow met. Incredible band. Everyone should see them if you get the chance.

"Everybody okay " gets me all the time. Of course I'm not but the music is making it better.

I am 71 and attended the concert of Coldplay last Saturday in Brussels with my daughter. It was indeed a breathtaking experience for me and will never be forgotten by me!! Coldplay is the best band in the world by far!!

I saw my first Coldplay concert back in June in NJ/NY and it was life changing. I never wanted the concert to end. I cried during this song and Fix You. Amazing night. I look forward to my next show (if I can convince the hubs of that one). 😂

At 3:45 when chris stops and guy starts the guitar riff with the red lights focusing on him it's such an amazing sight. That guitar riff just makes you feel something that i cannot describe in words.

There are very few songs that perfectly describe the pain and sorrow of love gone wrong. This is one of them.

Listening to this masterpiece in 2022 after my dad passed away, after I got dumped, after I lost my best friend. This song, his voice, the people united in the moment have the power to fill me with hope. It’s a different world where I can find peace, happiness, where I can connect with all the people for whom this video is also such a blessing. at 36 years old, I remember having this CD in my car and driving through Hackensack NJ with my girlfriend "CC" when I was a young man of 18. I remember recognizing the meaning of the lyrics before our prime. I remember holding her hand and looking into her deep Irish green eyes at a stoplight on a Saturday Night. "I had to find you to set you apart" and saying "Nobody said it would be easy, its such a shame for us to part" She was my HS Sweetheart and I knew it wasn't meant to be- Many decades later I still miss you CC. I know you are happy with someone else now. But I still remember that moment at a stoplight in our teens. no bills. no cares. nothing else holding us back just your green eyes and your Irish red hair.

Coldplay will always remain one of my favorite bands, they are timeless. And this song... I can listen to it over and over and over and still feel all these incredible things inside; it touches me beyond words. Does anyone else feel this too ? I just wish I could meet them and tell them how grateful I am for their wonderful music. I just uploaded a cover of The Scientist, and I really hope I did it justice... it would mean so much if other fellow Coldplay lovers gave it a listen. Old, check out the Rolling Stones. They were ugly 30 years ago and are now frightful looking. Martin hasn't changed much over the last 20 years. And he has such a magical presence. Check out his Oasis cover of Don't Look Back in Anger at Ariana Grande's concert.

One day. Not today, not tomorrow, but one day I’ll be in the Coldplay’s concert

I just had a thought about the importance of this song in my life, you'd imagine it being a song like any other and that's partly true, but when a song is responsible for a great part of my life I view it more than just a song. If you're actually reading this let me tell you a short story about how this song changed my life - my brother is a musician with oboe being his main instrument and piano his second, during the summer it's pretty much vacation time, trying to relax, do some sports or other activities, my brother doesn't play his instruments during this time and so one day I thought it's a shame the piano got so dusty, let me clean it up and give it a go. Just being casual me I googled easy piano tutorial, guess what popped up? Coldplay - The Scientist, and just like that in ten minutes or so I managed to learn the song, after all it's an easy tutorial. Then after listening to this song for a week I somehow decided to listen to the whole discography of Coldplay, must say I fell in love, after that I became a huge fan, started following them, the way they dress, things they do, songs they play, I was up to date with all the things. Just by listening to Coldplay I've managed to acquire this British accent and become fluent in English, started going out more, building up new hobbies, learned loads of Coldplay songs on piano and the guitar, started learning singing and finally sang something to my girlfriend, who apparently is a Coldplay fan and without them I probably never would've met her. I always try and stay positive, being a genuinely nice person, to have a similar impact on a person like Coldplay had on me. Sometimes I come to this song when I'm happy, sad, frustraded, the first thing I did after my first (not the current one) girlfriend left me was actually listen to this song and squeeze an honest tear. I hope this song is meaningful to many people out there who are struggling in life, because people need clarity and Coldplay was just what I needed.
