2008. When I bought Viva La Vida at Sunrise Records in Conestoga Mall in Waterloo, that initial instrumental track was sooooo uplifting and shimmering! I felt it demanded a full song treatment and wouldn'tcha know, we got the double album version a little later with just that

I agree! We need to hear songs like Moses again but I think by this point they've forgotten how to play that one, haha. Moses was exclusive to the AROBTTH tour back in 2003.

Always thought that they should pick 2 or 3 songs that either they've never played live before or haven't performed live for so long in every venue they decide to play. Like say they play in 3 different cities next year and in each one they play 3 songs that are not massive hits like example: City #1: Amsterdam, Prospekts March, Glass of Water City #2: Spies, Talk, Always in my Head City #3: Politik, Trouble, White Shadows. That'd be so awesome in my opinion. And it also would make every colpdlay concert unpredictable, because you won't know what new songs they will be performing

Viva La Vida is Coldplay’s magnum opus, that’s my personal opinion and I don’t think it’s ever gonna change. The album means so much to me, and was my introduction to Coldplay, I liked their singles before but I listened to Viva La Vida from start to finish, it was and still is fantastic.

Shaun Nash i use to love Viva la vida the best but I think parachutes definitely has aged the best (maybe because Viva la vida is overplayed like hell)

I went to the viva la vida tour and it was easily the best concert I have ever been to. I’ve seen them twice but that album was incredible. I’m going to go back and listen to it! So beautiful.

J I'll definitely admit that Viva la vida was just its own thing & that could never be replicated. You typically see an artist have a few songs that could even be put into an older album from a newer one but it's definitely their golden goose on being incredibly unique

that was the album that transform coldplay in a stadium band, incredible record. I saw them in Buenos Aires with that album, i remember everyone wanted to go, the world was talking about that show..., it was full... 70.000

Id love a live concert of songs they don't usually play or haven't played in years "amsterdam" "what if" "twisted logic" " life is for living" "gravity". The list could go on and on . An amazing back catalogue from the best band - full of variety and skill. Love Coldplay

I liked the album version, but there's something here that breathes new life into the song. It has a lot more space here I guess, especially in the treble, and the 2 guitars are really clear together. Love it.
