Cold Weather Bucket Truck Hydraulic Warm Up Engine Start

A quick vid on hydraulic warm up during cold weather in the north east. Cold hydraulic fluid can cause cavitation and pump failure and the last thing any tree service needs is to have a boom down in mid winter. A good warm up can prevent expensive damage and repairs. I also wanted to see how much the recent maintenance I did impacts cold starts when the block heater was not plugged in overnight.

Just put a new pump on mine last april. Rebuilt the outriggers a couple weeks ago. Mine has the 366 gas engine. A magnetic block heater on the fluid tank would probably help a lot in brutal cold
