Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial that will teach me how to play the campaign? Im still stuck on the map...

You need to carefully read your orders, head to the area of operations mentioned there and keep an eye out for a contact matching your target (as indicated by the respective symbols on the map). Your own satellites and patrol aircraft as well as undersea sonar arrays will provide recon data for you. Once you think you have spotted the correct contact, move to intercept. Make sure you don't make contact at full speed though, otherwise you may be spotted immediately.
