Love it! I have the same SLO katana machete and wakizashi as well as a lot of other stuff you have tested. I'd be interested, as well as others I'm sure to see you perform some traditional, realistic 2 handed cuts with katanas. We all know water bottles and milk jugs are level 2 tameshigiri difficulty at best, can we see you cut more challenging targets than water bottles such as 2 liters and gatorade or harder? Keep cutting!!

I feel like the strike that I did on those three water bottles would have definitely killed a human, if applied to their neck. So, while I could definitely substitute some type of harder target for the bottles, the strike would be the same, it is not like a different target makes the already killing blow “super extra more killing.” If I found something with really thick plastic, it would eventually be too tough to serve as a simulator for a human, since flesh is, all in all, pretty easy to cut, not very resistant to a sword at all. I’ve cut 2 liters before though, so I might include some of those, since they are not very expensive.

It does not make sense to rate the targets or only the targets, because two people can cut the same targets but display different levels of skill in doing so.

I enjoyed the video. I would love to see this thing up against a bone in ham or turkey etc

Mine had a bur on one side, once I took it off it was fairly sharp. My only complaint is that the handle could have a little more grip

It is shorter, only 24.5 inch blade length, also lighter and faster, and a bit wider than most.
