I have the regular Bushman and I made 2 foot handle for it from a hockey stick and use it as a chopper and short spear, as well as a knife. Mine has been put through things it should not have and it has made it through just fine, minus some of the coating.

I have two regular Bushmans with the flat spine. I love it. While thinner than most survivor blades, I've notice how the bushman can out perform much more expensive blades. Btw, the White grip tape looks good on your Bushman WJK.

My review of the Cold Steel Bushman Bowie, an affordable general purpose outdoor knife, strong competitor to the GI Tanto I recently reviewed, and budget alternative to the Condor hilt-tang models.

Temple of the Dog ... Yeah they discontinued the Mini-Bushman 10 years ago now. The Current Bushmans was updated in 2013 to new sheaths with a firesteel.

Didn't like this knife originally, now I have several. Excellent tool. That slope on the top doesn't affect battoning at all. My main worry, what with the thin sk-5 blade, is risk of breakage in cold environment use. Other than that, it's all the knife you need.

An essential piece of kit. Great for a light big knife carry in a day-pack, etc. How can you go wrong? A light bowie machete AND a spear head. Condor make similar knives, but man are they heavy..

18$USD shipped right now on amazon. Since I dont carry firearms and I definetly have bears where I live, just having this on the end of a long stick makes me feel a tiny bit more comfortable.

I like the fact it has a pocketon the sheath, its a good, cheap way to improve what would normally be a pretty janky sheath., they should have a pocket for all of these nylon sheaths on their knives and machetes
