One of the most memorable shows of my life happened in Burlington, VT. I think it was 2006 or so and there was an absolute blizzard outside. Matt still came and played for all of us that braved the weather, and we celebrated like family. I think Matt may have even tossed a snowball or two at us! This song always takes me back to that night! Incredible.

Matt deserves better. His music is great.

this song deserve 10M likes..... this song has moved with my life from last 7-8 years. I had a gf back in 2013 when I used to listen this song. now she is very far , our life paths have been separated, I am in Police dept. now , but I still miss her & whenever I listen this song during petrolling in cold nights I miss her badly. this song is so close to my heart. Hats off to you Matt costa for such a beautiful song. If you read it plz reply.

Moved to Boston from Dana Point, CA end of 2005. Its around that time I came accross your album "songs we sing" and have been in love ever since. This song reminds me of a boy I dated. My first boyfriend in Boston. And this song in particular reminds me of those days. @dasFredos This song makes me think of my best friend because of the lyrics and the fact that it's Matt Costa. The first song I had heard though was Mr. Pitiful. I love music like this =] It's true talent. I'm glad I was introduced to this type of music by my friend. I've been listening to the genre ever since. And besides, I was a little naive when I told him that. Honestly, his musical taste isn't weird like he thought it was.
