That's not my takeaway from the quote. Sounds like he was ashamed that Zionism had become a thing among Euro-jews. Zionism was first designed and developed by Napoleon and then later taken up more seriously by Christian antisemitic British Imperialists looking for a way to guard their interests in the the Middle East and Asia. Took a while to get jews interested. Previously Euro jews were like "What? Look, I'm French- Paris is my Jerusalem, so fuck off". I consider Zionism a sort of death cult targeting Jewish people for Geopolitical purposes by people who also want somewhere to "send" them. But Europeans are easily seduced by this sort of thing, settler colonialism, supremacism, genocide and the like.

The Hannibal directive was created with the aim of preventing the Palestinians to take prisoners, and it clearly orders the killing of the Israeli prisoner, which they have done in previous occasions. Also, it seems that Hamas only attacked soldiers, which those young people in the concert who tried to defend themselves were, as every young Israeli is a trained soldier. Col Baud, pretty much summed up my thoughts on Oct 8, after seeing the video. Right from the start I was on all these stream saying it is IDF policies that soldiers on leave must bring their weapons with them, thus many of these firefight when engaging the "civilians" were IDF on a holiday. Remembered Oct 7, was a big holiday and Sabbath I think. Also about this Hannibal Directive...It's a very clever and sinister policy. It's an order to shoot indiscriminately and later blame the opponent for massacre if possible. Second is to scare IDF soldier not to surrender, because you will be taken out if you surrender because we are taking out "the terrorist" and you with it.

I know Zelensky is Jewish, but is he related to Netanyahu? I am asking because both seem to be zealously intent on finishing off the future of their countries.

Israel has achieved ZERO military objectives and is losing against Hamas.

Was the US "shock and awe" bombing of Iraq "proportionate"? Lancet has estimated that, in total, approximately one million Iraqui civilians died over a period of a few years due to the West's actions. How about NATO'S bombing of Yugoslavia? Proportionate? Was the flattening of Dresden, Hiroshima, Nagasaki proportionate? There are countless instances of the West's cruel and callous killing of civilians, and the concept of proportionality did not enter into the brutal calculus of war. Israel has been engaged in an existential struggle for its very existence since its founding. And yet Israel is always held to standards of proportionality that are not (and never have been) respected by any other country at war. So, ENOUGH already!

Yes, - it's one thing accepting Russia has been treated with contempt by the West, and felt forced to act for reasons of national security, but Ritter takes it way too far. I used to be quite a fan, at the time of the non-existent Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, he showed a lot of moral courage in denouncing the war. Nowadays, I like to hear from Col. Wilkerson and Col. Baud. And Captain Matt Hoh - but he's not been on recently.
