Use and Throw policy is cruel as far as Army is concerned. Govt must make sure that Agni Veer is getting ample Training before they are send to Boarder. It's better to Stop this scheme as earlier as possible. Present Again Veer may be given option to continue in Service .

Agniveer should it continue then it should be optional. Regular army recruitment should be brought back.

This Col is talking. Please ask him, is every recruite explained the Rules of Service. If he accepts, then his family too should learn about the Terms and Conditions of service. Remind the Col of the T n C of SSCOs in the 60s. No pension and hardly any compensation.

I heard that 48 lakhs they received was not exgratia but group insurance, it's not from the government. Another 50 lakhs also his ICICI bank insurance. Not from government.

Who is paying the insurance premium?? It's the army that pays the premium. Who funds the army? The government via defence budget.
