Sir, greetings from Pakistan. A coke studio classic. It is a combination of two poems of Dr. Allama Iqbal, the National poet of Pakistan. The first one is Shikwa (complaint) which was written in 1909 and the second one Jawab e shikwa (response of the complaint) was written four to five years later in 1913 or 1914. The poet has written some of the greatest poetry ever in Urdu and Persian languages. He was a great philosopher as well. His writing and poetry was not only thought provoking and inspiring but also revolutionary at times. The poet faced a lot of criticism from the orthodox clerics of that time for writing the complaint. This song blends beautifully the complaint and the response to the complaint in this one song. Sir keep in mind, translation cannot give you full meanings. I.e the word "infidel" isn't right translation, kafir mean the one who denies the truth. " Allah is God of Abrahim" if your are Christian then you know it already... And Muslim mean the one who submits to the will of only true God..and Islam means submission to will of God. That's why we believe all previous prophets were Muslim including Jesus and Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h is last one of this chain of prophet coming from prophet Adam. That why he was point prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h because now he's the only way to God like prophet Jesus was in his time of prophethood.

It's the translation of "hum", and hum is used in the context of royalty - doesn't imply that there is more than one God here.
