People who don't know much about him, let me tell you something about this Young living Legend, He has been called "Pakistan's master of Progressive Rock". December 1990, a young boy of 14 picked up the guitar, never to put it back. With true passion, he decided to dedicate his life to master the art of playing the guitar. And since then he's never looked back. Today, he's arguably The Best Guitarist not only in Pakistan, but across South Asia. Acknowledged and awarded by a scholarship from Berklee College of Music, USA on his outstanding musical achievement in 1996, he's the only artist from Pakistan to be signed up by global record labels (US and Finland) for an instrumental album release "An Abstract Point of View" in 2002. But his most important achievement is the fact that he has inspired thousands of people to pick the guitar up and learn the craft in a vocalist dominated world. Respected by one and all throughout the music fraternity. The whole Pakistan proud of you Faraz! ❤️

Ali Faridi Absolutely right buddy, You know what bro, glti baqiyon ki bhi nai hai bcz many kids grownup listening to bollywood stuff, whether late 90's or early 2000. They all just digested that. But I'm sure that many of late 90's kids of Pakistan are regular listeners to these type of Pakistani stuff. Whether like this progressive rock of Pak or Our Beautiful Pop songs. They knew what is actual music is, they know the layers, they knew the knowledge of music.

Ali Faridi Bs kya kr sktay Ali, but I'm quite happy that our old Pakistani pop-rock culture is reviving again and pepsi battle of the bands are doin' excellent work in this, i think, with the passage of time, people WILL definitely realise that what they were missing from decades! We should or i would say MUST stick to our Musical roots of our country, but experimentation is necessary! ✌🏻

First he was in the band colaaj and in 94 he made a solo instrumental album Abstract point of view after that he started the band Dusk and in 2002 he started the band Mizraab .... he is almost 40 years old and playing from the age of 14 ... the worst part nobody knows him and people thinks he is from Nescafe Basement ........

Faraz Anwar is the bechmark all other coke studio performances should be matched with. The most deserving coke studio material.

Jaffer Zaidi's internship with Rohail Hyatt for 6 years are paying dividend now. He has been a different animal when compared to the other directors this season.

Indeed, Jaffar Zaidi produced some very beautiful songs, pick of coke studios that made way to my playlist were from Jaffar.

If they were singing in English and I wasn't watching the video I would never have guessed this was a Pakistani song , that's the quality of the music 👌🏼👌🏼

usman ghani , it's difficult to say who's no. 1 in the world. but for me it's slash or the buckethead. slash's riff is emotional while the buckethead's riff is technical. both are great legends. also David Gilmour of pink Floyd band. in Asia ayub bacchu of Bangladesh is in top 3. you can also listen to ibrahim bridal of Turkey.

Waiting for you to release the music albums that you still have not released in Pakistan. May Allah give you a long healthy life and to everyone ameen, we already lost Great Aamir Zaki Sir at his such young age for whom we never really had a platform (rest in peace). Now you are our pride, pride of Pakistan

This season has convinced me that this multiple producer drama should end, and only Jaffer Zaidi, Noori and Strings should stay on the team. They should take more original songs from the myriad artists across Pakistan and elevate those songs in the trye CS style. Hats off to this song. This is an original, re-interpreted by its artist, added on to, and it has that spirit of experimentation that has been lacking from CS. At the end it seemed like they were just jamming and chilling together. Beautiful!
