The original dress that catrionas wore was used for other misses in prior years than her competición. There are 2 models alike but in diferent color.

Ariadna's dress is more similar to the one from Panama that she used in the preliminary of the last Miss Universe.

Try to find MU1988 in blue dress when she came back to Thailand for celebrating the 2nd crown for the country on the car... That blue dress was co-design by herself and was planned to use for the final competition, while the white dress that we had seen was intended to use in Preliminary Competition only... but as we see, they changed planned.

Copying is a form of flattery, and it's okay. It just proves that the original has made an impact and worthy of emulating.
