Wow, Jay the smoothness of this coin tick is so amazing! The way all four coins go straight to pocket...well so they think. And like you said that William Burnbach said, "An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs" And obviously, you turned multiple ideas, not to dust, but to pure magic because the talent that you have, is a talent. My goal for 2018, is to master the trick that you performed a while back called "Mind Reading Jokers!" That colour change is quite the challenge for me, which I like, so I WILL master that by the end of 2018!

Love this. One of my favorites to perform. It also got me kicked out of a pub in Ireland. 2018 goal - dominate the local scene.

Thanks to you Jay, I performed for the first time in many years at a New Years Eve party. Not a big routine. Mostly card tricks, your mirror image and a few others. But it felt great. This routine I love and will have to practice. BTW I was in the cheap seats at the SPCA 😂 😂😂. New Year goals? Become healthier both physically and mentally. I think this and your new channel with definitely help with the second one. 👍

This guy explains things good not like other youtube magic channels that dont explain clearly how to do the trick.

One of my goals for 2018 is to better my coin magic. I feel like it's one of those areas that I avoid because, honestly, it scares me. Not coin magic itself, but the prospect for failure seems higher than, say, that of card magic, because if you flub up a card trick you can always reset and do another trick, but if you blow the illusion of coin magic, then the rest of your coin tricks lack credence.

Hey Jay, thanks for sharing this trick! It will take me a bit of work to get the himber count looking natural, but I think the biggest thing will be to not put too much attention towards it in execution.... With regards to the beginning bit where you take out 3 coins and display them on your palm with one of them resting in the classic palm position. I find it tricky to palm the coin in classic palm without first pressing it into the palm first with the fingers- do you think it would be just as effective to take out the 3 coins from the right pocket and dump them in the left hand, and then take one of the coins and press it into CP in the right hand using the right fingers....and then I would lay the other two from the left hand into the right hand in an ideal position for doing the clink pass. So essentially I'm dumping coins in left hand, taking them one by one into the right hand and getting the first one somewhat already into classic palm, and then proceeding with the rest of the trick as usual. Curious to hear your thoughts and if this would be as good a way to go about the trick....thanks again!

The goal I want to improve on my work

This year I want to become a more proficient pianist and maybe have a magic show.

My goal for 2018, is to get really good at the coin magic routines by Shoot Ogawa. Practice three hours everyday 5 days a week. Never really was good at coin magic, but now that I'm much older (27) I'm finding it to be easier than when I was 15

One of my goals is to practice more. Ive been slacking and it's making me insane

In 2018 I want to read 10 books, learn as much card magic and cardistry as I can get my eyeballs on, and focus on getting my patter to at least a competent level. Doing magic tricks while talking is as hard as singing and playing a guitar at the same time :s

Good one Sankey! I carry so much crap in my pockets that pocket vanishes just aren't feasible... But I can always use the nuts and bolts and apply to other tricks. Lot of crotch references in this one (more than normal). Had me lol a couple times! 2018... Be more productive! I'm a bartender for $ and an illustrator at heart... Goal is to get the business end of that going and make $ doing my passion!

Not to sound melodramatic, but one of my goals for 2018 is to be a generally happier person. Not that I walk around like some miserable tool, at all, but really need to work on finding happiness from simple stuff. Don't want to rely on medication because, at least in my situation, it's about changing little stupid habits and 'getting out of my head'. Sometimes we're our own worst enemy. Could even increase my chances of finding a significant other. Fingers crossed! Haha

So make sure you go out into the world and push yourself a bit outside your comfort zone. It's a numbers game - more women you meet = better odds of finding a girlfriend. GO GET HER.
