Exactly it's sooo time consuming and I don't have the time in my life nor am I willing to spend the time on it in my life lol, but they're very beautiful. I go back and forth between cutting it all the way down to a fourth of an inch and rocking my natural waves to a tapered cut. Both are low maintenance and don't require spending hours on hair. Both styles also allow me to have fun with color because I'm always cutting it. I've fully accepted that I have to exist in a short hair space, although a tapered cut is kind of the best of both worlds.

its always such a love hate relationship when your hair grows fast. I just did a big chop 4 months ago and my hair is already back long

This has been my go to style lately but all I use is the curl definer from Taliah Waajid. Then when it’s time to refresh, I’ll jazz it up with a couple bantu knots on the sides

A satin bonnet. Or if your hair is long you can use a bonnet that you use for braiding.

I LOVE YOUR HAIR, MAKEUP, VIBE AND STYLE!! I just cut my tapered cut off I got bored of it & I really hate going to the barber so after one terrible cut I went home & chopped it then went to a professional to get it evened out. Now I’m just growing it back out. I suggest not doing the tapered cut.

I agree! I loved my tapered Mohawk style however, I got bored of it really quick and decided to cut my color off and start growing it out besides I could always do that fro hawk style by pinning the sides down when it grows to that point.

It’s a little sticky but not enough to bother me. I think the best way to describe it would be that I can feel it if I put my hand in my hair but it doesn’t feel gross or anything
