How do you know when to feed in more hair?

Whenever you feel the braid thinning out, In this video I believe I added hair every 3rd or 4th braid until I go the desired thickness.

I have a question, last time I did this hairstyle, the curls didn’t last long, so do u have an advice to maintain curls ? Do I have to redo the curls each day ?

Hey love! I would say use a tighter perm rod so the curls start off tight but eventually drop to a pretty curl. After the curls dropped the second day I didn’t really have an issue anymore.

wear a durag and a bonnet to sleep! make sure to have your edges wrapped with the durag to help it lay flat. touch up the roots with edge control and rubber bands if they get frizzy :)
