Travis does exactly what the song needs and its awesome at that, Claudio is a typical " look at me shred" when it comes to solos, sounds good but I really prefer the former and I think it takes a lot more thinking and musical skill than Claudio's approach, at least for this song.

This is one of those songs that after you listen to it for the first time, you are afraid to listen to it again cause you're afraid it won't live up to when the first time you heard it.

If you think that's cool, the bassline is *mostly* the same note played over and over and over, but somehow it still retains a sense of movement. Very difficult thing to pull off, but Mike Todd (their original bassist) did it. That guy was a crazy good player. Nothing against the current one, Zack Cooper, but Mike Todd's stuff is my favorite. His counterpoint is something I would like to be able to pull off in my own music

Burning Star V Hendrix isn't ANYWHERE close to as good as the modern day guitarists. Stop giving credit to 'god like legends' just because they were the first to do something or best during their time. Hendrix couldn't match to anyone's guitarist nowadays. Trivium, 5fdp, Bfmv, a7x, etc. overall better guitarists.

I think they gain strength from a crowd. Have you seen how excited they look that everyone in the crowd is loving their music as they play? They are seriously passionate artists.

To sing whilst playing any instrument, and actually sound good Takes talent, pure and true raw talent.

bob dylan - fully agreed. So raw & I love the backing vocals. Claudio's voice sounds so much fuller here too. So wished they could've captured that on the studio version.

What a time to be alive late 90s early 00s

As someone who went to their live concert in 2009 with Slipknot and Trivium and literally was arriving in the parking lot to "welcome home".. I'm so glad they're still at it with the hits! At first i was angry my sister made us late for our favorite song...but now...i hold those memories close to my heart.....she killed herself 2 yrs later and its one of the last memories i have with her....glad we connected through your music! And this is definitely a banger!💯🙌🔥🔥🔥

For fuck's sake... I'm so sorry, stranger. I can't even imagine. You probably know far better than I, but do your best to keep your head up, and I mean that literally -- physically. Eventually it might stop happening on its own. And, ultimately and most importantly, it's the ONLY thing we can do in the face of the worst moments of our own existences. Take care.

Half of the solo actually wasn't even the guitars just pure awesomeness of sounds coming from Claudio's and the guitar players mouths.

+GradyRho92 I always loved in the studio version how the word "die" that leads into the solo gets drawn out and distorted for like 10 seconds into the solo.

Never heard them live before. This is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time. This band is really underrated.

These guys shredded live. Saw them when this song was a huge hit. They played between Shogun era Trivium and Slipknot and showed incredible musicianship and pressence. Played loud as fuck too, just how I like it! The mixing on this album quality stuff!

I've seen these guys live three times in Vegas, they play this nearly every concert and it's always epic.

2021 and still watching... That damn solo behind his head while using double neck guitar is soooooooooo freaking amazing!!!

One of my favorite lines of all time "Never again will you see this in your life"

his voice sounds amazing, but the lyrics are unrecognizable

Yeah it is I've been told it's kind of an advantage in some ways, plus it just looks cool. You don't see a lot of them around too. Some of my other favorite open handed drummers are Simon Phillips and Carter Beauford...

Im an open handed drummer, I have a ride cymbal on both sides, but i mainly use the one on the left. Im also ambidextrous (hope i spelled that right) but that also gives me a huge advantage.

Coheed and Cambria...one of the most real artists out there today!! Not to mention they came out of Rockland County,NY!! Nyack,NY is one of the best places in NYS to hear great music from real musicians! I'm proud to be a Rockland native and to be a musician!
