Facts.Same man,I heard of them around the same time I heard Aveged sevenfold.Actually I think I saw them both at Warp tour as a teenager.

This song was such a pleasant surprise, the whole album was actually. I'm still listening, every damn day.

It's just not the same band in any sense. They went super poppy after 4 and it's never been the same

It's hilarious how, absolutely no one expected this sound..yet as soon as we heard it...we welcomed it with open hearts. It's a change of pace, almost literally. But it's so fucking awesome. I truly hope they keep choosing to experiment and find more ways to convey this side of the Amory Wars.

This is the only band i know of that has been my Favourite band from album number 1 and never fallen off.

Me and my dad used to listen to Coheed and Cambria a lot when I was a little kid, and now that I'm older and live a long ways away from him, this music is something we text and call each other daily about. This song and Love Murder One have been songs I've listened to pretty much daily at this point

@@anthonyjones3835 the afterman is about chondra's friend who passed away, which kinda kickstarted the concept of ascension and descension. But she wasnt in the video. In the vid for the suffering, i doubt chondra was one of the 3 blonde mermaids, i think.

@@cocoamint7762 Mark Whalburg bought the rights at one time but didn't develop it, so I believe the rights went back to Claud. So I don't know what they have planned now. But its a shame to not get such a rich story on the screen in one way or another.

For me, this is the best song off their new album and rivals some of their classics. It’s just so unique and melodically amazing. I had the privilege of seeing them live last week. They sure know how to put on a show.. non stop energy. I hope to meet them some day.

I brought my 6yo son to their concert a couple weeks back and he didn't leave his seat and said it was "incredible". So fun to have kids into it.

It is unreal how good this song is and how absolutely different it is. Seeing this perfomed live is honestly in my top Coheed experiences

This concert was truly amazing, I have seen a LOT of bands live, and some are just "studio" bands that sound terrible in a live performance. While new tech has cleaned that up for them quite a bit, you can tell these guys operate like clockwork. As a musician it is inspiring.

Claudio should never use auto-tune. I know now since the album release that Claudio wishes he didn’t put so much autotune in it. Glad to know he agrees 🙌🏽

Autotune isn't necessarily a bad thing. Everyone who listens to Coheed know Claudio Sanchez has some pipes on him. There are some artists and bands that even if the artist can sing still choose to use autotune as a stylistic choice, while a very different genre examples include Lady Gaga and Kesha.

This is like a fusion of old coheed and new coheed. Sweeeeet

Is that Chondra with the kiss of death? She's a beautiful lady, imo. And I don't think it's any sort of exaggeration to say Coheed is worthy of the highest praise. They deliver album after album, song after song. He (Claude) has such a wonderful sense of melody and always seems to know how to take some of the most weirdly progressive rock music in the world and make it catchy and accessible even for listeners that don't have a more advanced taste in song structure or even an already developed taste for more progressive music. He and this band...such a talent.
