I remember first watching this site when you built your home, made the fields, brought in the water system and allowed for the return to the stream. Making tools, baskets, dishes, foraging for food.....and then i lost you somehow. So glad to find you again my friend and see all you have accomplished. You are one had working man.

I'm impressed by seeing what you learned from last year to now: The seedling field is a lot smaller now. And last year, when you pulled the seedlings out by the roots, every tearing sound of the roots bothered me: would this work? Well, it did, but I like how much gentler you are with the roots now than last year. Your planting is also straighter and the seedlings are planted better and with more care: all-in-all it shows that you are now familiar with processes you were trying to learn last year.

I think you may miss the point, where he says "To eliminate hunger". He is referring to the fact that he has a purpose or a drive, and in order to help fulfill that drive, he humbles his mind and body, performs these tasks, and grows food, as a means by which to help. The key part is the humbling, the "denying of ones own self" or selflessness that begets charity. Just some thoughts.

Im glad to see you sowing another harvest of rice, could we possibly see you digging the back pond back out (maybe a smidge deeper) and raising fish again? also right before your big break you planted a lot of crops on the opposite hill side from where you're building your new house, any progress on those?
