I can’t believe I’m actually writing this right now. A part of me doubted that I would actually be able to pull through with this, but here I am. There have always been two parts of me with cognition, the part that knows I'm gonna beat it someday and the part that says I never will, and every day I had no idea which to listen to.
This entire journey, this fucking experience of a lifetime, was a lot more to me than just a level in a game. This may surprise you, but I am a lazy and unmotivated person. I can’t stick to school or diet or exercise. To me, this was proof that I can do what I set my mind to, that I’m a mentally stronger person than I thought. It made me unbelievably happy to have finally finished this beast of an achievement off.
I developed a completely depressing and unhealthy relationship with the level. Not to go into too much detail, but it was something to do when I had nothing or nobody else I felt like I could turn to. To put it simply, people left. Cognition didn't. I know how dumb that sounds, but cognition means a lot more to me than just a level in square game.

God where do I even start. The amount of motivation and support this man has given me through this all is unparalleled. I wasn’t able to beat cognition with hand cam, and I wasn’t able to react, but I was able to have Evil in the. If I could only have one of those three things, I’d choose Evil being there 10/10 times. The hundreds of hours me and Evil sat in a vc together as I played (be it either in vc or dm calls) is absolutely the reason I was able to pull through with this. His friendship means the absolute world to me. There’s a reason he’s one of, if not the most liked person in PDGD and BGDPS. He is quite probably the best friend I’ve ever had. Through everything, and not just cognition, he has been there. This entire thing wouldn’t have been even remotely possible, so really this is just as much credited to you as it is to me. Love you man.

You are arguably the two best players in PDGD and BGDPS (skill wise). The words of motivation you two gave me meant a lot, coming from you two it felt like I was actually making progress and becoming a better player. Thank you both.

God the support you all gave me is unbelievable, the hundreds upon hundreds of hours I vc’d with y’all gave me so much motivation to finish this off. I was glad I was able to beat it in vc with so many of you all. Thank you all!

GG Lone you're insane! From the day we first met I knew you would be capable of something amazing, and when you told me that you were going for Cognition, I was surprised; however I knew you could do it. Through all the ups and downs we had, all the hours we VC'd just playing our levels, and all the hardships you've faced, you still were able to CLEAR MAP. Lone I am SO proud of you, you are actually insane! Your dedication is unmatched and your raw skill absolutely nuts. Good luck with whatever is next (NO SPOILERS) !!!

I've wanted to do some sort of big jump as well- however I'm always demotivated by the fact that I can only play gd for about 2.5 hours per day max, and then I gotta sit through a day of school before being able to come home and play gd again- It just kind of makes my attention span for levels shorter. But seeing things like this is very inspiring, and it makes me want to push through these mental challenges and push towards something great, even if I need to take short breaks from it occasionally. GG man.

@@JuanGPe_GDyea I was gonna say this you don’t need 8 hours of gd that’s overkill. Sleep buff helps more than you think 2.5 hrs is perfect
I didn’t know about this achievement until now, but I must say you have insane dedication. Well done, you deserve it 👍 I’m jumping from 8o to ppf and have 50% after 45K attempts, been playing it since early December

Extremely underrated player, words cannot describe how insane this achievement is. Im currently jumping from untitled (a top 350) to oblivion, and the level is kicking my ass hard, with having a run of 68 - 100 and 49 - 63 after 25k attempts already. but after reading the description of this video, i cant relate way too much. School is too much right now, and i am a ridiculously lazy person when it comes to it, but i know im able to stay on top of things if i put my mind to it. with the right mindset, we can do anything.

Since seeing the new demonlist levels I have always wanted to jump to something, RN my hardest is ToE2 and I want to jump to something on the list or on legacy like Ddiamond, but I still don't have skill but seeing this gives me hope that I might do it, that I might actually be able to take that leap. GG.

One of the most insane jumps in the entire history of this game, huge congratulations that you did this. I know how it feels, but my (failed) jumped was a smaller scale. Allegiance to Cognition, back when it was 13 on the list. I got 91 but gave up. Finished it December of 2021 though.

gg after reading that description it feels good to know that there are other people who know how hard jumping actually is i feel like people only see the completion and thats it but in reality its not only a hard level, it is a mental challenge and a long journey. @@inuis3024 I got about 10 extremes I've beaten since I first quit that I'm yet to edit and upload. Might get them done over the summer. As for long term in the game I'm not sure, going into the second year of uni now it's not like I have an abundance of free time. Thanks for remembering me though

Past drop was 20, and 20-52 was probably the for sure hardest part for me. I found 36-52 to be harder than 20-36 imo, with 10-20 being the hardest part for me, 36-52 being second hardest, and 20-52 being third hardest.
