@saunei Holy Convocation is the annual gathering for ALL the members of the Church of God in Christ (and anyone who would like to come join us). It's like our personal Mecca- but instead of Saudia Arabia we go to St. Louis (it used to be Memphis- which you will still hear some people refer to it). We just come together and praise the Lord from morning til midnight for an entire week.

My state choir sung this for our spring conferenve and omg god moved so strong that night...I saw my uncle Pastor Jp Morgan Jr's head lol just now in the choir

I was there the spirit was so high and that sister can really go. the service was awesome.

you are exactly right @GoofyTigerBoyz & @xthisxkidxjonathanx yeah it's a mess when isn't mixed right which is the case most of the time but I can see where they put different voices on one mic which with overheads for the other "650" sounds awesome

When the anthem reaches the classical-sounding phrase, are they singing: 1. "Glorious is Thy name, Almighty Lamb!" or 2. "Glorious is Thy name, Almighty God!" ? Can someone clarify this for me? Thanks to whomever answers--you may now return to your shouting! LOL :-)

CathedralFanatic--is it possible they're singing "Almighty Lord?" I've listened several times to that classical phrase, but the diction is not clear on that last word...sounds like "Lord" sometimes...
