COGENI Prices of building materials in Cameroon will shock you. What it takes to build in Africa.
Building in Cameroon or Africa can really be challenging because we import almost every tools needed to build and furnish the house. This makes us prone to global economic shake which in turn fluctuate the prices.
Cameroon is facing a spike in price when it comes to acquiring building materials.
I took it upon myself to head to Cogeni the biggest quincallerie in Cameroon and as usual take u guys along to witness firsthand the prices of things as of june 9 2022.
Hope u enjoy this one and please dont forget to like and subscribe.

We finally have the kind of content I have been looking for in Cameroon. All I can see was only in Nigeria and sometimes Ghana. You don’t know how valuable such content is for someone out of Cameroon. Please keep it up!

Good job bro. Great to have a feel of building materials prices
I had to rush to this your video once again to check out the prices of sole stuff. Thanks for the video
Yeah, some of the building materials should be improved. We need new products in our markets
bro, a million thanks for this video. i have searched for months for a video like this on KZread but only been seeing videos from Nigeria. i can't believe there is nothing on KZread, Facebook or any website talking about prices of building materials from, quiferrou, cogeni and all. it's bad. thanks again man. building from abroad is usually very tough when you don't know prices of materials for yourself. you definitely have my subscription. love your content so far. hoping to see more interesting videos.

Great video 😊
bro, you did awesome in this episode, but i have one favour to beg of you. please do a detailed video for tiles. the different dimensions, how many come in each carton, what dimension in square meters, a carton can cover, prices in square meters and prices per carton, different types, toilet tiles, kitchen tiles, wall tiles, etc. there's no video on KZread about this stuffs, only from Nigerian youtubers. I'm sure you will be helping a lot of us building from the diaspora. 🙏 i know only 60x60, 40x40, and 30x30.

I appreciate you videos, now I know where I can buy buildings materials in Douala.
Great Content Chimex. I could not imagine How Fake and uncontroled the Electrical and VVS items flood the Cameroonian Markets. What are our Customs Officers Doing? I promise you 99% of House Fires in Kmair is from bad quality installations ( sockets, extensions, cables) . I visit great investments of friends and falimies living abroad. And I always feel like crying especially when i see the kitchen and toilets. Thinks just breakup even without use. WE GO TAK DAT CUP

Great. Where can l find this building material shop in Douala? And also the Chinese shop in your previous video? Thanks 加油

If u want to built a house no matter the level....sit tight...get your security belt in place before take off. It is very draining, stressful, demanding especially if u have dubious individuals working for you.However....it is the best investment you will never regret.Finishing is a big issue to most houses in Cameroon but if u want great finishing....be ready because it is not cheap.Just to add...those flowering decorative items is not classic.Get something simple but durable.

@@pavie21 Great to hear that. You just need to have the right people around you to achieve that.Raising the house is not the problem.Toilet,roofing,wiring,plumbing,windows/doors,flooring/plastering is the beginning of real headache and financial drain but you can confront this if u r serious.

Thanks for the house review bro, but most of those materials are old fashion
Their things are not very modern. They are supposed to be putting some of the old things on sale to change inventory for newer designs.
