One of my favorite qualities in people is the ability to be humble when you could very easily be tempted otherwise. This is one of the reasons I love Tosin so much. So incredibly skilled yet so incredibly humble!

@John P Yeah, I kinda see where you're coming from. But as far as I know, each brand has their own hardware design patented. And I think the Strandbergs are more targeted to optimal ergonomics, while the Steinbergers aim for portability.

I fell down a rabbithole with the Abasi design - led me back to like the Reb Beach shark fin cutaway model, things like that - and many, many, MANY extended range, etc basses. This was by far the best "Coffee with Ola". I love Tosin. He seems like such a nice, genuine guy... Not to mention he's a total genius. And I can't wait for Misha's episode. You rock Ola. I've been following your channel since the very beginning and it's nice to see you getting the recognition you deserve from such big names in the industry.

Up until today I had never seen Tosin so relaxed and joyful in an interview, you bring the best out of people man, awesome job!

I am not a huge fan of the progressive new sounds. But I am also not an asshole and an idiot (at least in this instance ) ,what he is doing is not my bag, but I can hear how amazingly talented and innovating he is. I always told myself that when I become the old guy in rock music, I'm not going to shit on the new thing coming up, I'm going to support it and be excited for the new players. Tosin is a mind blower, I last about 3 minutes and then I'm smoked. Taking the guitar into such interesting evolutionary places, it might end up something other than the guitar as we know it. Fun show, great interview.

This was like the best interview Ola has done so far! It's awesome to see an artist interview with someone else who is exactly own their level. So many 'interviews' have a host that just doesn't get it.

I forgot that Tosin used to have a Swedish girlfriend. Being Norwegian, I understand most Swedish, and hearing Tosin talk dirty in a Scandinavian language cracked me up big time.

Wow! That's the most relaxed I've ever seen Ola Englund!!! I could see Ola and Abasi collaborating together as they have good chemistry and seem to be on the same wavelength with each other.
