Oh my goodness. I think that God sent this to me today. I have been having some severe depression issues. I am having problems leaving my home. In the past few weeks I have realized that I am getting closer to 70. I have not been living, just existing. Time for me to stop wasting whatever time I have. My hubby loved his life and lived it the best he could. I know that he is whispering in my ear to get on with it. Thanks so much for your encouraging words. God bless you both.

I remember visiting my grandma and she would give us tea in my fathers baby tea cup. Made drinking tea sooo special. I wish i knew where it went.

I'm going through a tough time right now. The long goodbye is something I knew was coming but didn't really prepare myself well. It's hard to have a good day right now but I can have good moments and watching you all gives me a reason to smile 😊❤

Another thing that happens is that the day my mother passed away, our grandson was born. The day my father in law passed away my father was born, the day our cat of over 15 years, we were told that we were going to be grandparents again. My grandson who is now 18, was born on his great grandfather and his grandfather’s birthday. Its called the circle of life and it just keeps going on and on, never ending!!

The year my husband and I each had a sister die, our second granddaughter was born. So true about the circle of life.

This Bonnie you guys and your family are amazing, you are so right so many families don't talk and I find that amazing.

I absolutely loved this video of Coffee with the Berner Brothers !!! My daughter & I are the same way, we have fun & enjoy each other's company no matter what we are doing !!! If it's going to the grocery store, paying bills, going to a movie & eating out, walking at the lake or just staying home !!! We are always happy & thankful for each other & what we do have !!! It's just my daughter & I & my sister but we have family but they don't care nothing about us three. We three try to do things together every now and then if we have the money if not it's ok !!! Would give anything to have a close loving family like yours but I can enjoy other people's families from afar !!! Bless you all & keep the awesome videos coming !!! ❤️🙂🤠

Thanks, guys. Your coffee talk brought tears to my eyes. So sorry about your uncle. I am now part of the oldest generation in my family and reflect almost daily about what will be left for family to deal with after I die. The one thing, though costly, I've tried to hang onto is the small family farm my parents built including nearly all the buildings as well clearing the land. I've been doing my best to keep it in my family since my dad passed away in 2002. It's four hours away from me and further from the three in the next generation who are also attached. I get discouraged at times (costs, maintenance, the distance) and was almost ready to give up until my visit the past few days. I'm just holding on until one of the next generation can retire and live there! 🤞As for people in my life, while I was there, I met up with my sister for her 79th birthday and we had a nice visit even though we have not always been able to get along. We are, after all, the last ones in our generation!

You have such solid and moral values. Thanks for sharing who you are.

Great talk, gentlemen. I do wish I had had a brother, sister or friend to chat with like that when I was younger. I just began thinking about these important priorities of life and living. I'm 77 now and have only recently learned to view life through the live for today, live in the moment lens. I lived most of my life in yesterday or tomorrow, somehow missing a lot of todays! When my grandma died, the only thing the cousins fought over was a set of carnival animal hi-ball glasses. They weren't anything crazy when new, but all of my cousins remembered drinking out of them. (they weren't in use by the time I came along) Everything else just went to someone's house, but everyone wanted those glasses.
