Coffee spills on an all white mesh sneaker?! Now that sounds like a nightmare, but it isn't the end of the world ☕︎
The Off White Presto is a solid sneaker and they're going for just over $600 right now depending on the size! However, they have their own complications for sure... From the oxidation on the swoosh and cage areas of the sneaker. Not to mention that white mesh material is hands down the EASIEST material to get dirty; like Vick said in the video it essentially like walking around in socks. Even with all those complications it is still a great sneaker to have in your collection. In today's Shoe Care Academy video we will walk you through exactly how to clean and maintain this delicate and complicated sneaker.
To kick off the cleaning we needed to take care of the tricky material using the RESHOEVN8R Signature Cleaning Kit. To breakdown the coffee stain on the toe box we relied on the 3 different brushes and all natural solution. Now Vick cleaned this sneaker a little differently than we normally do, but it was in no way the wrong way! By starting with the soles of the sneaker he essentially took care of the hardest part of the sneaker. He also brought in the Brass Brush. Now the Brass Brush is typically seen to reset the nap on crunchy suede shoes, but it is beneficial on some soles!
After the soles and midsoles were taken care of it was time to move onto the uppers. The Soft Bristle Brush was the perfect brush to tackle the delicate material and avoid any damage to the sneaker. One difference from this cleaning to another is that we had to clean both sneakers, because they were a customer drop off sneaker! However, customer sneaker or not we ALWAYS provide our kicks with the most effective clean!
The main superstar of this cleaning was the patented laundry system. Did you know we had the first ever sneaker laundry bag?! You do now! The laundry system was the key to fully remove the coffee staining from the material. You truly can not get a top notch clean on mesh, knit, canvas etc. without the laundry system.
After the shoe was nice and clean we needed to take care of the dreaded yellowing on the shoe. Luckily we have the Vick 2000. Not only do the UV rays help with the oxidation on the swoosh and cage, but it brightens the white color on the sneaker as a whole.
Now that Vick took care of the main 2 problems with the Off White Presto, he wanted to put the final details on it. For this he removed the creasing from the foam materials on the midsole and now these kicks look as good as they did in 2017!
Now you know how to remove coffee, oxidation, creasing and more. Don't be afraid to wear your sneakers; they can be cleaned!

Between the pick to remove rocks etc, the Indoor set up , electric buffer brush , sneaker bag that actually hold two shoes and more you guys have so many products you could drop! Don’t stand still Reshoevn8r keep the innovative movement going

Were you able to find them new still white or are they yellowed from age? Ordered new on goat then they replied discoloration and refunded luckily but they were going to try and find another pair but didn’t want to waste my time thinking they would all be yellow when I actually sat back and thought about it. Any input would help. Thanks man!

Acetone be careful.Tape off the areas so you don’t let it hit other materials or different colors

I got a pair of white off white prestos and i love them sm but i gotta know, is there any way to remove the yellowing throughout the shoe without a vick 2000?

Using UV rays in general like the sun will help
Wait, so it’s just the UV lighting that did the whitening, no salon care?
Ive always been worried to clean my off whites because im afraid the lettering will peel off being brushed like that. Do you think that it's safe to scrub that lettering on the jordan 1 off white?

bro vick i heave a pair way more yellowed what should i do? do you recommend that i put the sole revive on the cage and the swoosh and put it in the the sun, don’t got no vick 2000

We don't recommend using Sole Revive on uppers. Honestly, it is difficult to remove yellowing from uppers. You can try to heat the shoes in the UV box or sun.
Yooo vic i have my off white airmax 97 yellowing on the top materials how do i get them to unyellow without applying any sauce on top dont wanna mess mine shoes up any tips what can help me i have a uv light but dont wanna damage the shoes?

Honestly, there are no many tips to remove yellowing from uppers. You can keep them in the UV box. However, you need to keep a check on your shoes.

Presto are soooo comfy but it has no supports on the sides of the shoe 😅 🔥
The bottom part is not that important bc when you go outside with them the bottom part gets dirty
