I really like the classic Hario V60 scales. Updates quick, accurate, light and small and has a simple timer on it. Hard to beat, waterproofing would be my biggest ask.

Do you use it just for V60 or have you managed to use it for Espresso too?

@@TSE_WOODY Thanks so much! That’s awesome to know (just fyi, totally understood they were never marketed or meant for espresso, but was curious 😉 Thanks again!)

The normcore looks exactly like the Kyerlish that I purchased and it’s only $36. It’s what I use and has a espresso function on first drip which is nice. The timer does seem to keep going but easy to take a glance when lifting the cup off or manually turning off the timer.

Auto-off time is important to me as many shut off too soon like 1 minute and I don't like touch on/off button much. Now I am quite happy with Timecore that has shut off at 5 mins, rechargeable, and slide on/off button. I still need a cheap small one to measure Espresso.

I am not sure why midrange skipping is a good idea. I got some cheap scale from chinese garbage and it was really bad. So I got timemoore and it is really good (but more expensive).

My cool scale unfortunately broke and I use the cheapest pocket scale. That's the kind of scale I carry with me all the time.

You’re answer it’s so funny “if you have money go with most expensive one, if you don’t go with most cheapest one”. I would say “ just go with one you can afford! But to be honest most of the people watching you probably have Breville Barista Express. Are they really going to spend almost half of their mashine price for a scale like Acaia? Don’t make any sense ))
