Squares woven out of coffee bags can be used to make all kinds of baskets and bags. All you need to connect them is string (such as a gift wrapping string) and a needle or stick to thread the string through the hinges formed at the edges of the squares. For the weaving you need:
- empty coffee bags
- cardboard or paper (e.g. cereal packs are good)
- ruler
- a pen
- scissors
- clothespins or other clips
- durable wooden sticks or knitting needles
To join woven pieces, you need:
- string (e.g. gift wrapping string)
- a needle
- scissors
The size of the template is 15,2cm x 6,8 cm.
