All of that And the tribute to the legend that was Glen Campbell just adds to the greatness. Campbell was one of the BEST guitar players of all time! But, that uncommon fact doesn't do him justice. He could do it all and made it look easy. That's why he never got the credit he deserved. But I'll say it. Roy Clark, Jerry Reed and Glen Campbell were 3 of the best guitarists/musicians this world has ever seen. They were somehow so insanely good at what they did that they were under appreciated and overlooked.

So good, exactly what I needed. Life’s been crazy the last 6 months. This is what every good ol boy needs. Life hits you hard, but good musical talent, a drink, a good friend, a fire in the woods just helps you focus on what’s important. Reflect, refocus, and work hard. I think God has the rest handled.

First time I heard Monday Morning Merle in 2019, I cried real man tears. I was going though I rough breakup at the time and it was the song I needed in that moment. It helped get me through. Remains a top 3 Cody Johnson song for me! 💯

Thanks, Cody Johnson, for sharing your music. Dear Rodeo really touched the heart of a little 'ol cowgirl. Rodeo and my love for a really good horse will always be at the core of what makes me tick.

you nailed Wichita Lineman. I'm 57 and been listening to Glen Campbell all of my life. My son (who has the lyrics to "Till you can't" on his guitar strap) sings that song at gigs but it deserves real passion he just cant bring to bear. Maybe Belmont University will teach him how to bring emotion and talent together. Anyway..... You honored Glen's memory with your version. And yes, anyone who has loved his music, has a difficult time getting through that documentary without tears.
