@@victoriawilliamalley1267 hey friend, as someone who has dealt with and is continuing to deal with depression, I can promise you that it DOES in fact get better. By God's grace you are here today. You made it another day and I'm so proud of you! It's tough, I know. Cling to the word of God and the words that Jesus spoke and I promise you it will get better. As Christians, we are not immune to these feelings, but the word of God speaks of hope. Hebrews 6:19 "says We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." Have hope and take heart knowing that there's, as Cody wrote in this song, not a step we're going to take where He isn't with us. I know it's tough but push through. I'm praying for you.

If this song doesn’t speak to you it’s time for a check up. I’m 47 years old and am experiencing the darkest days of my life. Nothing like that past catching up to you and knocking you down to humble you and realize you have no control but you can turn it over to someone who does. Without him in my life I’m not sure what I would do. Everyone in my family says I’m the strong one lol, it’s not me it is him. He gets all the honor praise and glory. When I make it to the other side of all this it will be because of him. Thank you Jesus!!!!

Im a retired emt fire fighter and I retired from trucking in November of 21 because the day after gallbladder surgery wich was November 4 the doctor found me dead on the bathroom floor she had no idea how long I was there but she and the team worked on me for 24 minutes before they got me back yeah broke my ribs from cpr I was on life support for about two weeks and an in the hospital 31 days lost me twice trying to remove the vent but by God's grace I got life in me again so yes he still does miracle work in yes I was a Christian and still am i don't know what he wants me to do but I will maybe ill be lucky enough to meet Cody only God knows God bless everyone

Love this song. If not for the prayers of my husband and the grace of God I would NOT be here. Lived thru a cyst on my brain, a ruptured colon due to ulcerative colitis, cyst on my ovaries, and pancreatitis and God pulled me thru every time. He really does work miracles and I'm living proof. I am a "former" firefighter. I feel it's like the Marines, once a fireman always a fireman. But, I developed PTSD, and a drinking issue. I tried everything on my own, and I just decided to give it to God, and let God! This song is kinda a theme song to me...thank you SO much Cody Johnson for having the conviction to put this on your album, because it really helped a lot of people, especially me!

Wow thank you for this song. I've been struggling with my faith since my dad passed away unexpectedly a couple months ago. I felt God all in this song and I was reminded that by his grace, I have hope to see him again. Thank you so much.

The whole album is fantastic, but this one this gave me chills. I needed this badly!

I am so grateful for the number of country artists that are not afraid to speak and sing about their hope and faith in Jesus. That is why I like country so much. You just don't see that in other genres.

This should be song of the year. Beautiful message. As a Roman Catholic i can say Amen to words so true and full of the Christian message. May God unite us someday. I think we are closer than some might think.

I love country gospel music cause it heals and bring strength to me whenever am down. Am honestly attracted to your comments and you got me asking, we’re you from?

My son showed me this song three months ago and I can’t stop listening to it! A year ago I was thinking selfish and wanting to end my life with videos to my kids and wife done. I never gave gods grace a chance till then and I’m glad I did it’s changed not only my life but my kids and my sisters life around.

It's been three weeks since I've lost my brother. His son had this song played at his memorial. This really hit home for me. My brother wasn't perfect but he was a part of my life l will always love....

Wow. Only because of His grace can I be set free. He paid a debt that he didn't owe, because He loves me and knew that I couldn't pay it. Nails didn't keep Jesus on the cross. His love for me and every person on earth is what kept Him there to pay our sin debt. Praise Jesus!!!!

I feel you Brother, I was a forest firefighter. Hit by a truck leaving work, in a coma for 3 months. Now I'm a gold miner in Nevada. Once fireman always a fireman, God's plan, we cannot see at the moment we are going through our trials. Put spending 7 days at the gold mine away from my family these past few days I experienced things they're out of this world and the reason why God saved my life. I would not have these experiences without the trials and tribulations I have been through. God bless you brother, everything happens in his time. And most of all his love ❤️

This song was played in church at bootcamp during one of the hardest weeks thank you lord

So I found this song just the other day. Every time it brings me to tears. I’m 25 and I’m sick. Not something I’ll ever get rid of. A lot of days I let it get me down, especially when I’m at my lowest with fevers and everything. But I heard this and I just thank God it’s no worse. I have so much that others don’t. My high school sweet heart, my horses and my family. May not be a lot but He has definitely graced me. Thank you for the reminder CoJo.

I don't preach as much as I need to, but my Fiancé and I lost our new born daughter last September. We keep going as much as we can and I have been lost for quite sometime my ego is down, but this song tells me things will get better, Life will move on with our daughter our guardian angel by our side each and everyday. I now thank god more then ever for every waking breath we take and we know our daughter is there to help guide us with life going on each and everyday. Love you baby girl and miss you! Thank you Cody for what you do!

He will heal the scars and give you the strength to make it through these taxing times. Your daughter is watching over you, never forget that life is eternal when you accept the gospel. Hands up high, favorite song of the past decade, hits all the feels😂

Cody took me to lodestar cowboy church on line where I sat through the sermons each week and no word of a lie it helped me get through life and this was the song I am forever greatful for

this song hits me hard right now I am missing home because of my deploymnet and trying to be a god-fearing man here but it's very hard. I have sinned and my past has reminded me of what I have done. but I done live there its been hard to have faith sometimes because there has been some dark days that I have been through and have felt truly alone so i need this right now to remind me of the lords love and mercy and his loving-kindness and grace every day.

And I was just thinking "we need Christian Country music" I'm glad to hear this right now, this song is and has blessed my soul!

Just recently asked the Lord for any new songs and videos that he knew would help me grow in the fullness of my salvation and my calling according to His purpose and my Daughter just sent me a text and the download... yup, thanks again Lord for my Daughter, and for your answer to my prayers... again! God's grace is amazing

By the grace of God we all have a chance each and every day we wake up to face any problems we may have. For me it's alcohol and drug addiction. Thank you God for bringing me to the rooms of A.A. and thank you Cody Johnson for this amazing song.
