That amazing

Heard this song for the first time at a church camp I was chaperoning, YFN. Really touched my heart and I knew I had to find it so I could listen again. I feel so often caught up in my own needs when addressing Jesus, treating him more as a vending machine than a friend, than a savior. We recognize these 'vending machine' relationships in our own lives, with other men and women, as toxic, but with the most important person in our lives, Jesus, we can so easily and often find ourselves on the offending end. This song is a good reminder. Take us back to when we were children, God, and we just wanted to sit with You.

When you just ache for Jesus....when you just want Him to take you home. There is work to be done - so in the meantime, music like this...

Beautiful song, I think it is prophetic song for such as this, as GOD calls men to come back to The Secret Places that we once knew. We need to stop following our dreams and get back to following Jesus and then our dreams (Gods dreams) will start following us.

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” James 4:6 NIV

Wow.. This is what we all need right now, come back to were we started. Its all about you Jesus.

I am totaly caught up by this... One morning after praying three days I woke up and God told me to stand up and sit down at my piano cause he wants to write a song with me. I told him that we both know I don't play piano I simply never learned it. I felt like he said sit down I will give a song to you. I sat down n my hands started to play a melody and words just came out of my mouth. Because I never learned piano I thought the melody is far too simple.... And now I hear Cody I could't believe... Just???????????? I just want you! Read about what the disciples endured to JUST want Jesus! Two were beheaded, one was crucified upside down, one was boiled in oil and exiled on an island, one was stoned to death, etc....... Jesus asked them, Are you able to be baptized in what He was going to suffer, they said yes, and He said they would, but to sit on His right and left were up to His Father. They didn't understand what they were asking for. "Just" wanting God is not a little thing.....But I'm sure glad He Just wants Us!!! And He knew what His suffering would be for that. That is too much for me to understand. HE is Worthy. Praise Him forever!!!!!!
