Coding in BASIC on an Ipad
This video demonstrates how to write code and create programs using BASIC on an Ipad. You can create your own apps in BASIC. Examples include a program designed to do the math of squaring a building site and another designed to calculate gravitational acceleration. The app required is "Hand BASIC" - free.

I like the code part, but what I am most interested is to have knowledge of what is really going on behind the simple words. For example, when you type "print" what happens in the hardware level of the computer? How do we create a programming language and how does the hardware know what it means? For this reason I feel like I am in the hands of the developers as far as limitations goes.
superb, and brings back fond memories of my old commodore 64!
As always, I enjoyed your video. This one in particular took me back in time a few years. I had a Commodore 64 and learned to use Basic way back then. Seeing 38911 bytes free was like seeing an old friend. ;o) Have a great weekend and thank you again for sharing your videos.Mick
