There SHOULD be an option that allows you to do the conveint open/close delay. Put it to 0 and you're good to go

will this work with my 2013 f30? do i need to have comfort access for this to work?

You need to comfort access or the power folding mirrors

@@chrisslife3639 I have both comfort access and folding mirrors with button but when I hit code it didn’t work on the folding mirrors when locking doors. Only got the bmw chime sound changed. Not sure what I did wrong

I have a question: After following your instructions the convenient Close does not fold mirrors. I have reset to factory setting tried again. What do you recommend as a next try!

adrian perry Did you get it to work? I tried it today with a Vgate wifi, i noticed there are 2 parts to the process in 2 different modules, have them both “active” but still does not work. I have a 2016 F25

adrian perry, so quick update. The first time I tried coding, it did not work, but then yesterday I tried coding some other stuff, after I finished, I tried the mirrors again and nothing, but went out for 15 min car ride, when I got back home VOILA, when the car locked, mirrors folded in.

How did you do your f10 man ? Mine won’t show the option and it says footwell module, it only gives me fold mirror with comfort access only.

June Vi I eventually found it, I haven’t done it to mine yet, you have to go to expert menu and find it in German, try to find it on the bimmerpost website, I’ll try to look up again, I’ve been doing some other stuff to my car and haven’t coded it in a while. I’ll look for it again this week and post a video on it hopefully soon. Apparently Chris’s life really doesn’t like answering comments on his KZread videos lol

Yes. To code your car you need to buy the full version. It’s $30 in the App Store

What's the point of coding when You have comfort access? Just press and hold BMW logo for 3sec and mirrors will fold!

Not every bmw has it already coded. Also this allows you to use the door rather than taking the key out of your pocket.

Our 2020 3 series BMW keeps getting the mirrors stolen. After folding its easy to just unfold with hands. Is there a way to keep it locked and only to open with unlocking the car? Our car came with folding function. I hate these theiving ass MF!
