Coded ACA P-15, Fort Atkinson, WI - Alert - Monthly Siren Test

After Hebron, Mitchell and I went over to Fort Atkinson to hear their P-15. The damper slams shut on wind up, and the position it was facing made perfect for a camera to be zoomed in on the damper. Despite the damper also slamming shut, it was still quite loud. Enjoy!

*On July 28th, 2023, a line of severe thunderstorms went through the area with severe wind gusts. This caused the sirens pole to topple over and destroy the siren.*

I can't believe that P-15 is able to be coded with that damper inside the siren. Probably the most rare ones.
It would be cool to see the damper close when it winds down, so it's wind down is extremely long

@Karol Matias Sánchez Inda it has a damper, which allows it to by your terms “clog” and unclog the intake

Does this thing ever do pulse? I have a nearby siren which is a Secomak CS8 and now it runs pulse and I will make there soon. And btw I subbed

These coded dualtone p15s dont sound like normal dt p15s is it the intake that does that?
It can doing pulse!

Means the siren has a damper.
What is the difference between a ACA P-15 and a ‘Coded’ ACA P-15? Is it the shutter?

Yes, if it it coded it means it has that solenoid and dampner.

Damper makes very little to no difference it seems.

It actually does surprisingly. When recording this video it was quite loud since I was right under it basically, but when recording my most recent video of it it was very quiet. At the end of the test the damper usually opens up, and when it does, both times I’ve recorded it, it’s *very* loud.
