You're welcome. I hope you have an easy fix. The codes you get at the auto parts store give a shotgun approach. They can point you in ""about"" the right direction & sometimes hit it right on. Let me know how you make out with your repair. The best feedback I get is when one of my videos helps someone out. Stay well , Joe Z

Steering column doesn’t need removed. If you slide the red boot away, you’ll find a flat spot on the column. Turn the wheel until that flat spot points toward the ground giving you a tad more clearance. Combine that with the slight extra room saved by using a skinny extension up against it, and you’ve got just the right amount of room to use a socket on #3.

My steering wheel isn't centred, so this is good tip to know. And it will make me look more closely at the front end to see why it wasn't put back right - a hasty collision repair maybe.

Ruben Vasquez, Thank You for watching. I am not auto tec but just a DIY guy that is willing to give just about anything a try. That said the first thing I would do is to see if your spark plug wires are shorting out. The way I did it was to wait to evening then get a spray bottle with water & spray the wires looking for sparks. I am not recommending this procedure. Be "very careful" if you do this. I just copied this on line for you: Basically this P0300 code means that the the car's computer has detected that not all of the engine's cylinders are firing properly. A P0300 diagnostic code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder number that is misfiring. If you are going to change the plugs & have trouble with the # 3 cylinder I pasted a link to my video where I had this issue: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZolksqWlntOsg5M.html Ruben Vasquez I have other videos on my channel that cover many different subjects and new videos added weekly that may also be of help or interest. Recheck all the wires. Remove them 1 at a time both at the plug & dist ends. Make sure they are snapped all the way in. If it still misfires check the dist cap. even though it is new. Look for cracks, black arching. You may want to try another new dist cap. The less expensive ones sometimes come defective. Not sure but if this does not work it may be the distributor itself. I would check further before changing the dist. Hope this was of some help. Joe Z

Gtorjoe Sorry your attention span is only 5 minutes, can't help you with that. If you do not know where the spark plug is located I suggest you get someone to help you out. But thank you for stopping by & just a suggestion if you cannot think of anything good to say or do have constructive criticism leave out the name calling if you want to be taken seriously. Stay well, Joe Z
