maybe because he realizes how Lelouch feels (better late that never) and doesn't want him to beleive that he has really betrayed him this time. His face looked like a "wait let me explain" face and his voice seems more desperate that angry.

Suzaku probably wanted to mend his relationship after Lelouch was captured.

This was epic and so sad at the same time. Suzaku really didn't intend to betray Lelouch here, but because of this misunderstanding Lelouch feels more broken than ever. God, if only this had ended differently..

would still not consider it even, Suzaku had sold out lelouch multiple times standing by the belief that he can change britain from within when britain at almost every turn expected him to die in every mission they sent him on. Suzaku by nature is a backstabbing idiot. his actions even got his friends memory of him wiped. not even batting an eye at it. and what was Suzaku's end goal by the end? becoming knight of one so he could take control over area 11. he thought he could freely reign over an area like that. but he would still just be the emperors lapdog taking his orders on what to do. would not change a thing in the scheme of it all. Euphy's idea of peace was a silly one. that would just put up a facade of how it should be. the 11 would just be called japanese in name alone. the discrimination and spite the britains hold to the eleven wouldn't change. And Suzaku meant to repeat the process which would look even more suspect in the eyes of the britanian with an honorary eleven at the helm of such a project.

When you start to think about it, you realize that The plot of code geass (specially R2) it’s based on a bunch of Misunderstandings

People find this funny. But this is the truth. Soldiers will always prioritise orders from their superior (with whom they are loyal to) than orders from a king or an empire.

Lelouch wanted to believe in his old friend, he wanted to forgive him and then he believed that Suzaku has sold him at the location where they are became friends years ago, where they shared so much good memories, just after he opens his heart to him. I mean how Lelouch could believe that Suzaku has done nothing wrong this time? Everything showed that it was a trap for him. and that Suzaku has enjoyed to humilate him and has lied and lied again. But it's nice to see Suzaku's horror when he realizes that. Poor Lelouch he's so broken "even friendship has betrayed me" he's so broken that he stopped to care for Suzaku since he orders Kallen to kill him later (even if it doesn't work). And it's hard because it's the FIRST time that it happens. Before even after the betrayal at the end of R1, he still wanted to only capture him.

I was taking this whole episode completely seriously and was even nervous for Lelouch since his identity's out and seemed to be backed into a corner, but I burst out laughing when they revealed how Lelouch Geass'd Guilford. Probably the best tension breaker I've experienced in a while.

Just think about it only if guilford would have tricked Lelouch by using lenses that moment lmfaoo

It honestly could mean the same thing depending on context, that line of Brother in sub could also be Lelouch saying that term with the utmost hate as he hates being tied to the imperial family as he denounced his claim to the throne and Charles heir as a child.

Fun fact- If Lelouch never saved Suzaku back in the beginning of the show, no one would have discovered Lelouch, the black Rebellion would have been successful. Lelouch would have conquered all of Britannia, and Suzaku would be dead

I think V.V. would've stilled captured Nunnally though in my opinion thus the Black Rebellion would've been a failure without him leading everyone, the first arcs ending depends on if V.V. captured Nunnally or not, hell I think V.V. would've captured Lelouch instead of Suzaku if he wasn't there all to test if Charles still has parental feelings for Lelouch

The situation is the same from R1: A girl he cares about has been murdered (Euphy/Shirley) and when Lelouch proposes a treaty to save Nunnaly, Suzaku accepts instead of throwing it back in his face. This is character regression for Suzaku.

This scene got me really mad at how Suzaku can be so dumb. Lelouch tried to tell him one million times that Britannia was a lying corrupt empire, but he'd rather trust the empire than believe his best friend, and had to be betrayed to finally understand the scum that is the Holy Britannia Empire

Geass cannot be stopped on normal glasses like how light can still go through glasses

the glasses have to be tinted like sunglasses. So long as the geass can make solid eye contact. Tinted glasses block out light so it would most likely interfere with the geass
